Rodrick x Reader

No one thought that Rodrick and y/n could have a relationship. However they got to celebrate their one year anniversary but it all went down after Rodrick overheard one conversation.

It was our one year anniversary so I convinced Rodrick to have a date night instead of the usual hanging out at his place. Although my boyfriend didn’t like going out a lot, he would go to the movie theater and get some food afterwards with me. He did whatever made me happy. Sometimes it was like he couldn’t believe that I am his girlfriend. I am this straight A student and he is - well he is Rodrick.

At 8pm I arrived at his house.

„Oh, y/n sweet heart, you are waiting for my son, right? I am afraid but he is still getting ready. Why don‘t you come in?“ Susan, his mom, said to me after she answered the door. She brought me to the kitchen and gave me some water.

„So today is the one year anniversary, isn‘t it?“ Susan asked after a while.

„Oh yes, that‘s why we have our little date night.“ I answered her and took a sip from my water.

„Wow that’s a long time for young people. Are you sure you know what you are doing with my son?“ „You don‘t have to worry about that. I am so in love with Rodrick and I couldn‘t be happier about being in this amazing relationship with him.“ I immediately tried to reassure her but Susan still looked very concerned. „Oh sweetie, I think you misunderstood me. I am more worried about you. I don‘t want Rodrick to be the reason you loose focus on your education. I know that he can be a very bad influence.“ I looked at her in disbelief. Was she really talking about her own son in that way? I put down my glass of water and wanted to tell her that I‘d rather wait outside for my boyfriend when I heard a cracking noise. Rodrick stood right outside of the kitchen. He turned around and went back to his room and shut the door with a bang.

I immediately left his mom in the kitchen and went upstairs. I knocked at the door to the attic which was slowly opened by my boyfriend. „Can I come in?“ I asked him. His eyes were red and puffy. He took a few steps back and I went into his room. He cleared his throat before he started to speak. „So y/n, I think that we should stop seeing each other.“ „Wait what?“ I stumbled. Did he really say that? „Yeah, I mean it’s the right thing to do.“ Now I was staring at him in disbelief. „Why should it be the right thing?“, I asked him. My voice wasn’t more than a whisper. I had to fight back the tears. „Don’t be stupid. You have this bright future ahead of you and I - well I don’t have shit. Your parents hate me and even my Mom sees that we can’t be together. So please don’t make this even harder for me and just go.“ He turned around and pretended to look out of his window. „Why should we let everyone decide what the best for us is? How would they know that I have this bright future. And why can’t you have a great future as well?“ He snorted. „What amazing future do I have? Do you want to sit in the attic with me for the next 20 years?“ „Nah, Rodrick, you will be a Rockstar and tour around. You will probably forget me anyways and start seeing crazy fan girls“ „Nah babe, how can I forget my badass lawyer wife.“ He turned around, smiling at me. I took the last few steps towards him and gave him a kiss. He immediately pulled me into a huge and rested his head on top of mine. I heard him sigh and felt how the tension left his body.

We stayed there for a while, just holding each other. Rodrick played around with a strand of my hair. After a while he broke the silence. „Y/n I don’t know how to say this but I don’t think we should break up anymore.“ I had to laugh because of his awkwardness. „Thanks for letting me know“, I said while shaking my head.

„I think we missed our movie.“ Rodrick let go of me and looked me in my eyes. He was sorry for ruining our date night because of that. But honestly, I didn’t care about this anymore after all the drama. „That’s okay, we can just watch some Netflix and raid your fridge.“

Back together - Part lll (finished)

Rodrick heffley x reader

So what could I do? She is is his mother so he will be listening to her, right? But he is Rodrick. He does whatever he wants, not caring about anything. So maybe there is a chance, that he will stand up for him, for us.

But she has the control over him, his band and his van. Will he give this up for me? Do I even want him to? So I guess I just have to keep staring at him in school. The only place left where I could see him.

The days went by - almost a month since our break up. I didn't think it would, but it became easier. Ben, our friend, sometimes talks to me about him. He did take it quiet well that we couldn't see each other anymore, but that's okay for me. I can move on.

I left from our only class together, going to the staircase which is almost never used. I have always hated the crowded halls. Rodrick was walking in front of me. I didn't realize it until he held me the door open at the way to the staircase. I think that he didn't realize at first who was walking behind him but as soon as he saw me, he smiled. Not a big one but he did. That was enough for me to crush again.

We were walking down the stairs, the only ones there, when he suddenly turned around.

"Y/N, listen I know the last month has been though - for both of us. But you know Susan. She doesn't want - she thinks you are a bad influence but that's bullshit. Like I am probably a worse influence and your parents still like... Uhm liked me."

I wanted to say something too, but I wasn't sure what I could tell him.

" So I think we should try it again. Susan can do whatever she wants, take my phone, my van, even my band but no one can take away my girl. "

A few moments later, Elijah appeared in the hall of my school. You could see his anger in his eyes, but Klaus didn't seem to be impressed. Quiet the contrary, he looked kinda amused about this situation.

"Hello brother. Have you missed me?" he said with a bright smile.

Elijah ignored him and went straight for his neck "If you hurt her in any way, I am gonna kill you. I don't care if you are family or not."

"Calm down. You have always been a noble man who protected the ones he loved, but shouldn't family count more than any woman?"

"She isn't just any woman, brother and also, she has been more like a family to me than you will ever be. No one hurts my family and lives."

"But just look at her. She is so weak, so human. How old is she 18, 19?"

Elijah completely lost his manners. He just couldn't stand his brother talking about his love like this. But Klaus just smiled.

"We might be bound forever to those with whom we share blood. But we can't choose our family. But I chose her. So don't make this bound our deepest regret." Elijah smoothed down his suit, calming himself. He knew that Klaus tried to anger him and he didn't want to show his dark side to me. He didn't believe me everytime I told him, that I am not afraid of him, even not of his worst.

"Oh Lijah, you have always been there for me. Do you really think that I would hurt you or your" he looked at me "new family. I respect that and I can understand you."

Klaus still had this smile on his face which I couldn't really judge, but Elijah's whole body posture changed. I knew that Elijah wouldn't relax if we were still in danger so this calmede as well.

"Brother, do you still think I am here to hurt Y/N ? I miss the family we were, the bond we had and our strength. But unfortunately, I haven't got your phone number like your girl so I just had to find another way." he laughed.

"Why should I believe you?" Elijah just said while crossing his arms.

"Cuz if I really wanted to, I would already slaughtered the whole school within a second. We both know that. And your girl, she definitely got some attitude. She wasn't even afraid."

"That's my girl." Elijah smiled at me.

"You know that I only fell three times in love in over a 1000 years and she is gonna be the last one."

"Yes Lijah and we gonna have an eternity left together." I kissed my man, messing with his hair a bit.

"As a human?" Oh, I kinda forgot that Klaus was still there.

"I am gonna turn her after her graduation"

"Wow, so welcome to family, Y/N" Klaus gave me his hand.

"So Y/N darling, do you want to go home after this stressful day? " he looked at his brother and rolled his eyes.

"I'd love to". I took Elijah's hand and we both walked to his car, driving to our apartment, knowing that I am now a part of the Mikaelson family.

I was sitting in biology as suddenly someone knocked at the door. Of course my teacher opened it. This was his first mistake.

Outside was a tall guy with rather blond hair. He looked like he wanted to kill the next one but just stood there, searching the room until he saw me.

"Ahh Y/N. It's so nice to see you. I have heard so much about you."

"I am sorry, I don't really understand" was all I could say. I wasn't sure what I should think about this whole situation.

"Oh you don't know who I am right? I am Klaus, Elijah's brother and I quiet certain that you have already heard about him."

My jaw dropped. Elijah had already told me about his family and especially about Klaus. They haven't seen each other for ages, literal ages.

"So I thought about meeting my big brother for a while now but I didn't really know how to reach out to him. So I kinda forgot about it until I heard some very interesting stories about you and my brother." he smirked " and I thought that killing you, would draw some of his attention to me. "

"Well I have his number so why don't we just call him? If you kill me, he'd do the same to you and the fact that you can't get killed makes it even more fun." Oh shit how do I explain this to my class later? At least one thing I won't have to deal with if he kills me.

"Calling him?" I think he wasn't sure what to say since he expected a different reaction.

I sighted and tried to grab my phone. You saw how worried Klaus got. This not working out the way he planned. But still, calling Elijah is way easier than gettimg killed - at least from my perspective.

He answered after the first ring. "Hello Darling, is everything alright?"

"Yeah, well actually Klaus is right im front of me and I am sure he wants to talk to you."

"Klaus?! I am here in one second" was the last he said before he hung up.

"He is on his way" I tried to be relaxed as possible. But still, I was a bit worried about Klaus. The stories I have heard of him didn't make it any easier for me.

"Maybe we can move this conversation outside." I tried to suggest. I didn't want to get the rest in my class even more curious about this situation as they already were.

"Where have you been. I was worried about you... Have you noticed how late it got? If your mom sees that you aren't at home, she is gonna kill you and probably me afterwards." i just couldn't hold it back anymore. The view I had was pretty upsetting. He was sitting with his band mates outside under a porch, smoking something.

I already felt bad because I was way to harsh with him. He has already problems at school and at home, so I wanted to be his haven of peace. But he didn't react the way I imagined. He just kept looking at me until he started laughing. I tried to wait but he just didn't stop shaking. "Hello, Baby Babe, Y/N. Do you have fun? I have fun. I like having fun. Do you have fun?"

"I think that was enough for today. Let's get you home. I'll drive, obviously, so can you give me the keys?"

"But I don't wanna leave now. I wanna stay here with my mates. Do you know? "

"Let me guess: It's because you are having fun"

"How do you know that? Are you psychic?"

Well, we definitely have to leave. Rodrick is totally done and I still have to get him home safely, without his family hearing us .

As I pulled up in his drive way, I noticed a light in the kitchen. However, I thought heading in through the patio door is the easiest way to get him inside since it's the farest away from thr kitchen. So as I opened the door, which was luckly almost always unlocked, the light in the living room was switched on. I had to blink a few times to get used to the light, but still, I could not believe what I saw. It was Susan standing in her pyjamas right in front of us, completely in tears with a police officer next to her.

"Excuse me Ma'am is this your son?" he asked.

"Yes it is, together with his good for nothing girlfriend, of course. Every time he is in trouble, it's because of you. It was always you. How could I not see how bad of an influence you are?"

Luckly Rodrick sobered up rather quickly with the police officer in front of him, so he left since he was no longer needed.

As soon as the officer left, Susan started screaming again.

"Don't you see what you do to him? He sneaked out and came back hours later, completely wasted. I even had to call the police. Do you know how bad this looks?"

"Mom, it's not Y/N fault. It was my decision -"

"Don't you even dare to say anything. Go to your room right now. We are gonna talk about your punishment tomorrow. And now to you Y/N. I might not be able to punish you, and I know that calling your parents does not help at all since they have already failed raising you so far. But do you know what I can do? I am now forbidding you to see Rodrick ever again. You are always around when he gets in trouble and today, he even took drugs. I will no longer tolerate this."

A Rodrick Heffley Fanfiction

And there i saw him, standing next to his locker and talking to this blond girl. I know I don't have any right to be jealous but I just couldn't help it.

I wished Rodrick was still my boyfriend but this is just not gonna happen. Thx to his mom.

Rodrick has always struggled with school and he and his mom Susan were fighting a lot. She said that his band was just a waste of time and that he had to concentrate on school. She also didn't like that Rodrick bullied his younger brother Greg. Although I think bullying is way worse than what they do. They were just normal brothers.

However Rodrick used my argument and told her that they were just acting like brothers which of course, ended in a big fight. She eventually threw him out of the house for a few days and he had to stay with me. I felt kinda responsible so I went to Susan and tried to explain the situation to her. Luckly she wasn't mad at Rodrick anymore but now she believed that I was the bad influence on him. She thought that i would worse the situation between the siblings so she even tried to forbid Rodrick to see me ever again, but he didn't really care. We just got more sneaky so Susan would shut up.

However, Rodrick and I went to Ben's party, he throws every time his parents are out of town, a few weeks later.

At 9 pm, he came to my house to pick me up after he snug out. I didn't have this problem since my parents were pretty chill and they are working a lot so they wouldn't even notice that I was gone.

When we were at the party most were already pretty wasted although it was still kinda early. Ben's parties were always wild. Weed and booze are standard there. However I don't really like drinking so I just chilled with some of my friends on the couch while Rodrick searched for Ben. He wanted to talk with him about their next gig and if they could have band practice in their garage from now on.

After a while I got worried since I haven't seen him and I also couldn't find him.

You and Rodrick are watching a movie when he suddenly finds your secret notebook.

Although you have been in a relationship with Rodrick for quiet some time, you two are still learning new things about each other every once in a while.

One evening, both of you were sitting on your bed, watching a movie when suddenly Rodricks phone rang. He was afraid it was his Mom so he of course wanted to answer her. He usually wouldn't care about that but he also didn't want risking to be grounded since he can only see you at school then. But unfortunately his phone somehow ended up falling between your bed and the wall so he had to look for it.

Suddenly he held a dog-eared notebook in his hands.

"Omg have I just found your diary? Let's see what dirty little secrets you are hiding from me." he teased you while opening the book.

"Please give it back. I am begging you" Y/N said with tears in your eyes. Rodricks stopped grinning as soon as he saw your face. He wasn't really sure what to do now since he isn't used to girls crying around him, so he started to worry.

"Babe, it's okay. I can just put the book back. Don't worry, I won't read your diary and I completely understand that you don't want me to see it since it's probably very personal." he said while hugging you.

"Plus I already know that I am a sex god without reading about it." His face changed back to his usual Rodrick face, you've always loved so much, so you just had to stop crying.

"B- But it's not my diary. I am writing poems sometimes. Sorry, it's just so embarrassing. I have never told anyone. I am so so sorry." You looked away from him out of embarrassment.

"You don't have to apologize, Y/N. We can just forget about it."

"Yeah but I kinda want you to read it. Of course only if you want to" You said while looking in his eyes. He smiled at you while gabbing the notebook again. He opened the first page and read it. All of it.

You were so excited. What if he doesn't like your poems? You was especially afraid of him reading your latest ones because they were inspired by him, but you just couldn't wait so long.

"And? What do you think?" You almost whispered.

"They are really good, but some of them don't rhyme?"

"Poems don't have to rhyme, Rody. " You can't really explain why but this made you laugh a bit. Sometimes he acts a little dumb, but that makes him even cuter.

"Oh okay" he simply answered and went silent.

"Why don't you participate in a poetry slam? There is one once a month in the cafe at the corner. Do you know which one I mean?" he said after a while, still staring at the notebook.

"Do you really think that I should do this?"

"Yes babe and I will be your biggest fan, standing in the first row. Maybe I should also get a T- Shirt with your name on."

He immediately got his phone and googled a place to print T-Shirts. His support means everything for you and a poetry slam doesn't sound to bad either. It would actually be really cute how you support him and his band and he supports you writing your poems.

"This ain't a rock concert, Rody." You just had to laugh "I absolutely love your support tho but I guess that evening is way more formal than one of your shows."

He pulled you closer to him and gave you a kiss on your nose tip. And from that moment on you just knew that he was the right one.
