Genuinely hate the idea that the next Avatar is going to be in a cyberpunk-esque setting, like where did that idea come from anyway

Like Korra is in the 1920s so more realistically she’d pass in like the 90s so the next avatar would be more early 2000s

But also I don’t think the Spirits would allow All That Shit, so realistically it’d probably be more Solarpunk if anything

So what killed Kyoshi anyway? Like she lived 230 years so she could’ve kept going what stopped her?

Personally I think it was her freckles.

She couldn’t figure out how many she has on her and where exactly so she couldn’t actually hold herself together fully and correctly enough to live forever.

1) Mixed heritage, lots of people likely are somewhere in their family trees, it’s why every nation has a variety of looks despite averages. It’s why Tohna can look not like a Water Tribesman but still be one. Likely why Ty Lee and her sisters all look more like Air Nomads than Fire Nation citizens. It wouldn’t be unbelievable for Ummi to have more than just Water Tribe family, especially with an Air Nomads being nomads and like. Boats existing.

2) Why would there have to be a boy/girl cycle for this theory to work? Especially if, as I suggested, it’s only at specific times in the LI and next Avatar’s lives? Like Aang as a kid looks similar to Ta Min as an adult woman and then Aang grows up and doesn’t look like her anymore. Genders are irrelevant to that. It’s like saying Sokka looks like his mom.

3) I can’t actually find anything on what Kyoshi’s dad looked like beyond stocky and strong, so it’s entirely possible he had the possibility to pass on a more Ummi-ish face. So option 2, had Ummi not lost her face Kyoshi might’ve looked more like her. Or what I was suggesting in option 1, when Kyoshi and Ummi (I meant to say they not she in option 1)were really young there was a bit of a similarity due to how squishy babies/toddlers’ faces are and at no other point in their lives was there a sorta similarity, like most of the examples it’s never 1-to-1 til the day they die it’s just “yeah I can see it” and usually only at certain points.

4) What does bending have to do with anything we’re talking about faces

So like you know how there’s that theory that the current avatar has the face of the previous avatar’s love

But like Kyoshi looks nothing like Kuruk’s

Two options for that(that aren’t It’s Wrong of course)

Option 1: Current Avatar and Previous Avatar’s love only share a face for a bit. (Ex Baby Katara and Baby Korra look a good bit similar but stop once they’re no longer itty bitty, Aang obviously stopped looking anything like Roku’s wife by at most 30)

So Kyoshi did look like her but only when she was real young.

Option 2: Kuruk’s love lost her face to Koh so there technically wasn’t anything for Kyoshi to look like

The morning came and there is an impossible amount of smoke and Fog covering gaza. People still can't check on each other even if they were a few meters away. The amount of killed Palestinians has increased above never before. Children dismembered, mothers saying goodbye before burying their children. People who have no idea if their loved ones are alive or dead. Hospitals cannot help, they're out of every energy source and quite frankly, doctors. The bombing hasn't stopped if you were wondering, so people can't just walk on the streets and search for their loved ones. A paramedic broke down after pulling out a little girl from underneath the rubble. Refugee camps have gotten bombed, so the people who survived the first bombing of their house, probably weren't so lucky this time.

And israeli army spokesperson just released a statement falsely claiming that Hamas has a headquarters under a main hospital in gaza. (Al-Shifaa hospital). This is an attempt to justify bombing a hospital, where over 30,000 people are seeking care. This hospital is located 16 meters above sea level, making it impossible to built tunnels under it. Highest area in gaza is 105 meters.

Hello. I know I've been absent again, but I have a situation

Sorry for being gone. Burnout's a bitch and a half and I'm not doing well in any regard.

My mom and younger brother are currently at a Urgent Care Vet for my cat, Reeses, who's been having signs of a FUTI. I was told that the price of treatment would be $1200 at the minimum.

Due to my job, I do not make a lot of money and I currently have NO money to fund this at all. Not only that, but I am all the way in New York, while my family is still in Arizona.
