Once we get the voices season 1 episodes 1-6 are ready to be recorded. Because the process takes forever, We’d like to emphasize the need for the serpentine generals and Jay’s parents. I wanna voice act but I'd like to know, will the script have profanity? Sorry if this is a dumb question lol but I know some abridged projects have a lot of swearing and some don't

Not dumb at all. Yes the script has profanity. Nothing offensive tho. And if you are uncomfortable with swearing the character(s) lines can be changed. There is another va who doesn’t swear and we make sure the lines work around that, overall it’s a pretty easy fix, thx for asking

Yes help wanted VA’s, Scriptwriters, and Editors

If you want to be voice actor, have an idea of the character you want and contact mod coffee through tumblr or discord for the lines you will audition for. Voice acting is fun and you can be more than one extra or minor role if you so choose.

Voice recordings will be done in a large discord call that will be recorded. If you cannot talk in discord you can record the lines by yourself and send them in, or more preferably an 1v1 with an admin.

Scriptwriters are the backbone of the whole project. Everyone can see the edited video and voice actors can be easily recognized in video. But none of that works without a script. Ninjago abridged is a comedic parody so if you think your funny or have a few choice plot errors you’d want to be shown scripting is for you!

Not all scriptwriting will be by yourself, some times will be chosen for a writing circle where you can be in a call and popcorn ides with other scriptwriters. This is not required but it’s fun

Editing is all about finalizing. The culmination of weeks worth of work into a fun video for everyone. When the people in this project started this, no one knew how to edit. So if your worried about being bad at it don’t worry we’re bad at it too. Editors are the only people with a hard deadline

And finally this is a group project with lots of little pieces. If you can’t work with others don’t join.  The server is a fun and safe place for all people over the age of 14. Inactivity or refusal to do your part will likely end with being kicked. This will be a long running project for hopefully the entire show. recurring voices be aware. We cannot pay you to be here it’s just for fun. And if you have anything to do with the other abridged project by TeamFourWeapons please don’t join we intend to keep things separate. if you have questions feel free to ask/dm thx for reading ^.^
