Students at Columbia University, NYC, have been occupying the campus in demand to be heard on divesting their schools interests from the State of Israel.

lessons from the heart

the act of loving oneself is the highest form of devotion.

appraising your body as the first and most powerful form of connection to the heavens. adorning yourself with love and decorations because you are the earthly expression of the divine.

caring for yourself is the most powerful ritual. accepting and knowing yourself is the most powerful spell. any gods or goddesses, any spirits or ancestors know that you, as the conduit of their gifts as well as your own, will not be able to access them unless you are willing to first make the journey to studying and appreciating yourself in all areas.

this isn't to say that you can't have a connection with your deities or spirits if you have insecurities or unresolved issues with who you are, it means that the best way to begin working with spirits and understanding them is to first begin working with yourself and creating a basis for who you are- discover yourself, and you will find what magick has lived inside of you all along.
