Introducing Strife, the quiet force and former Bosun of the Dreaded Duchess. With a keen eye for detail and a protective nature, Strife ensures every lash, and scrap of sail on his ship and its crew is prepared for whatever threats may loom on the horizon.
Strife wields a rapier and a longsword with finesse, though he isn’t afraid to mix modern with medieval, carrying an MP5 SMG into battle. His tactical acumen is matched by his ability to melt into shadows, courtesy of his Cloak of the Bat, which he uses to harass, and pick off enemies before his allies join the fray.
Amongst his crew, Strife’s relationships stand out. He shares a unique camaraderie with Sergei Antonov and respects the inventive mind of Splendar Thorndon. Whether they’re navigating the perils of space or the intrigues of new worlds, Strife’s actions speak to a deep-seated loyalty and a readiness to face whatever comes next.
In the stories ahead, witness Strife as he maneuvers through conflicts and camaraderie, always with the quiet assurance of a seasoned warrior and the sharp instincts of a born leader.
(No art for this one unfortunately, I’ll write up a description later on)

I’ll make another post about strife after the weekend. And then one about each of their parties in the coming weeks.

Meet Friedrich Von Berdusk, a warrior philosopher once sworn to the Order of Truth, an organization celebrated for its benevolence yet marred by underlying darkness. Compelled by the order’s concealed malevolence, Friedrich staged his own death to escape the suffocating grip of the institution and redefine his destiny. For the past fifteen years, he has navigated the turbulent life of a mercenary, his blade serving those who pay, while his soul searches for deeper truths in a world rife with moral complexity.
His journey is one of constant struggle and introspection, where the quest for meaning and the resolve to confront internal and external conflicts shape his existence. As Friedrich grapples with the philosophical dilemmas that haunt him, he aims to forge a path towards redemption and enlightenment, striving to reconcile the noble ideals he once cherished with the harsh realities of power and corruption he has encountered.

I have two DnD characters
My first one is Strife, son of Mizery (my cat)
A Tabaxi rouge-fighter multiclass, and pirate (formerly) aboard the spelljamming vessel “the Dreaded Duchess”
The second is Friedrich Von Berdusk.
A human fighter, with a warrior-philosopher background. (He’s loosely based on a mashup of Friedrich Nietzche, and a landsknecht mercenary from the 16th century).
I intend to use this blog to tell some of their stores as they have unfolded so far, and how they progress into the future.
Let me know if yall want to hear more about them
