Today Energy Dress Like A Prospect Not A Suspect. Happy new working day. I trust God that your weekend was splendid. Today interest has to do with our appearance. This topic covers the entirety of what one can see in you with his/her eyes. It is often said, dress as you would want to be addressed. Our appearance attracts. Our appearance speaks. Our appearance most times sends more messages about you than you can imagine. People in most cases pay attention to what they see and react base on that than what they can’t see until they are being told. This is so important that some corporate organizations incorporate dress codes in their corporate culture. This is taken very serious that failure to abide attracts a penalty. Appearance is our identity. Appearance reveals an unwritten part of our story. Dress as a prospect, not a suspect. People will be comfortable approaching you if you look neat and endearing. The state of your clothing matters. Your hair and facial look matter. Your nails and shoes matter. This is far from going for expensive things, rather it’s about neatness. It is not about dirtiness because sometimes what you put on may not be dirty in the eyes but has an unpleasant odour. Don’t allow yourself look send wrong messages to people that have contact with you and even security agents. Let your appearance makes you a prospect for the next business, connection, appointment, relationship, partnership etc, than making you look like a suspect for crime and irresponsibility. Don’t dress to kill because you may not like some kind of killing your dressing will expose you to. Appearance elicits positive energy and morale. You will agree with me that any day you dresses well, you will feel good, comfortable and happy. Your mood will be welcoming. Dress to fit who you are and your profession. Today Energy Teamwork Makes The Dream Work. A wonderful new week to all my friends and readers. I’m super excited because we are alive to keep moving forward. Without much ado, let’s consider the tag of the write-up to see how it will be a great source of energy for us. Teamwork makes the dreams work is very key to our success in life. Nobody is a highland, nobody can survive in isolation. Even our nature does not support loneliness. We will always need people around us to be complete. Every individual has a dream. That is what you want to become in life or things you want to happen in your space. Organizations need personnel to achieve their set goals. For instance, a football team has 11 players per side. If they face their opponent in the competition with individual games without working together with the entire team, winning will be an elusive expectation for them. Most times when a team failed, people complain that the stars in the team played individual games which cost them the victory Also, some people are afraid of working with people because of past experiences and stories they have heard from others. This pushes them into their shield. But, how long would you think this way? Things change so also human behaviors. Nothing is static. Many good people are yearning for the opportunity to work with people. My dear reader, you need people to bring your dreams to reality. Don’t allow pride to deceive you to believe that you can do it alone. Every successful person we see in the world today has a story of how someone supported them one way or another. Don’t downplay the effectiveness of teamwork. It lighten the work and attracts results. It is often said that two good heads are better than one. What You Should Do. • Learn to work with people. Teamwork is a learnable skill. • Get partners that share and understand your dreams. Don’t only look at the negative side of working with people rather explore and adopt the positive side of teamwork. • Create a network of like minds and build your team with a positive outlook. Today Energy WALK AWAY! Hey! How are you doing? I believe you are fine and hopeful. It is often said when there is life, there is hope. That is true. While alive and energetic, you should not toil with this opportunity. Being alive is an opportunity because some people are in the grave, the terminal point for the earthly journey. Having said the above, I want to draw your attention to something very important which you may not have considered before now. My friends, in life there are things we hold unto. These include friends, jobs, business, attitude, equipment, partnership, emotions etc. These things have influenced our daily living. Sometimes they condition us to act in a particular way and causes an emotional breakdown. My word this morning is simple: WALK AWAY FROM THINGS THAT DOES NOT SERVE YOU. I’m saying this very loud. Those things do not deserve your time and effort. Anything that does not add value to you should be sacked by the BOSS(that is you). Learn to walk away. Don’t allow emotions to influence your decision. You deserve to be happy. If you think the thing is amenable, wake up and do what is needed to get it in the right mode. Don’t waste time.
