Missing your writing lately :) I have a whole list of Mystic messenger blogs that I revisit from time to time and yours/promiscuous jalapeño's were always my favorites. If you're comfortable, I'd love to read other works of yours that you have shared.

My oh my I'm so sorry for only getting to this now! I'm usually not on Tumblr anymore and when I am, I tend to use my phone so I didn't see the ask symbol! So sorry for the delay! First off; thank you so much for your kind words. Seeing that someone still appreciates my work years after I stopped writing is really heartwarming. Especially considering that, while I certainly put effort into it, it wasn't any kind of master-class writing on my part. Still, the effort being appreciated truly warms my heart. Sadly, I haven't really written and published anythng after that. Im 23 years old, so for the most part life got in the way. Between work, university, heatlh issues, family issues and so on I barely had the time to write nor the muse. I do have an A03 account, but I haven't published anything there since...I think 2014? Which...trust me you don't wanna read the three cringey Supernatural fics I wrote back then. I am actually working on a few OC projects that I'd love to publish one day, but sadly I always end up getting stuck in ruts and writers blocks so the whole thing is ready and finished in my head, but will probably take ages (if ever) to be published. I usually roleplay. That's something I really enjoy and want to do more of, so if that's something you're into, feel free to message me :)

Heyo! I just wanna say, that I really like how realistic you make your headcannons! While I usually go for fluffy/comfort type things, I really enjoy the more realistic turn on them (even if not always the favored outcome). I found this blog through your "x FTM MC" headcannons, and really enjoyed them (despite crying). Anyway, just to summarize: I think your writing style is amazing! Have a great day/night/etc :)

I left the fandom and stopped writing for years because I never felt like my writing found the audience I’d hoped or was met with a lot of enthusiasm so this is really sweet.

this is a sensitive topic on mental disorders, but i felt like i wanted some input on this because (to my surprise?) i couldn't find any discussion about Saeyoung having DID. It seemed obvious to me, even from the start. I'm not sure if im projecting onto him (I have DID) but the way he acts is really similar to how i feel it. in his route, he has a slow switch out of being 707 or Luciel and calls MC about "going on an adventure to collect fragments of your consciousness" omg i have 2 much 2 say

Oh wow I haven’t posted on this blog in years but this one caught me off-guard, because DID is one of those disorders that just fastinates me. I have autism and psychology has always been a special interest of mine, but I am still by no means a professional so take whatever I say with a grain of salt, especially considering your are (hopefully officially) diagnosed with DID. Personally, I don’t think he has DID or shows any of the tell-tale symptoms. At least not the way I’ve been confronted with it. DID - formerly known as multiple personality disorder - is known for causing people affected with it to have multiple personalities residing within one body. Those personalities can (and often do) vary in personality, age, sexuality, gender and sometimes even in race. Saeyoung doesn’t show any different personalities, but personas. Those are two vastly different things. While I do believe he made up 707 and Luciel as coping/protective mechanisms I don’t believe they are DID related. From my knowledge the different personalities usually create themselves when the host isn’t capable of dealing with a certain traumatic event and the PTSD related to it. Like for example sexual assault during childhood and then a personality is created to deal with anything sex related afterwards, in order for the host to remain detached from said event. With Saeyoung that isn’t the case. Luciel and 707 aren’t distinct personalities as they have to be for DID to be diagnosed and recognized as such. Saeyoung is very much in control of himself and what is going on at all times, he uses those personas more so for ‘goofing around’ and protecting himself from being recognized, maybe even for coping through humour, rather than getting over a singular traumatic event in his past. To show this in more detail let me copy paste the main symptoms of DID from the American Psychiatric Assosiaction: - The existence of two or more distinct identities (or “personality states”). The distinct identities are accompanied by changes in behavior, memory and thinking. The signs and symptoms may be observed by others or reported by the individual - Ongoing gaps in memory about everyday events, personal information and/or past traumatic events. - The symptoms cause significant distress or problems in social, occupational or other areas of functioning. Saeyoung exhibits none of those. He doesn’t have distinct personalities that vary in age, gender, race etc. but are merely personas that function as a extention of himself. He shows no signs of any memory loss, whether it be everyday events or personal info and he most certainly has no social or occupational areas of functioning as he is working for secret agency, highly respected by colleagues, bosses and friends and is very much popular within the RFA and would probably be outside of it as well, if his job and situation allowed it. In fact, all of his persona’s are very much capable of doing the same things and none of them jump out in particular situation which would be the case with DID. In fact, I’m quite sure he even mentions in his route that he’s done with playing happy go lucky 707, very much implying that he did it on purpose - which isn’t the case with DID - being in control the entire time - not DID again - and that it was all an act (again, not DID) Again. I haven’t played or cared for Mystic Messenger in over 3 years and I’m not a professional so take anything and everything I just wrote with a grain of sault. I just found the ask interesting and wanted to give my hot take.
