Blaze headcanon:

'06 happened before Rush, and the Sol dimension was created when Blaze took on Iblis and left Silver's dimension. When Sonic and Elise blow out Iblis' flame and erase the events of '06, Blaze's life changed so that she was born and raised in the dimension she took Iblis to. She doesn't remember what happened in '06 because technically it never happened for her, but she has these dreams of a future that feel like memories where the world is engulfed by fire which she assumes is an ominous warning of what her own power is capable of if she were to lose control of it. This fear of her own power led her to be very distant with other people and fiercely independent which then led into the events of Rush.

the #radio silence tagging problem in the hazbin fandom

said I would make a more eye-catching psa about this, here it is

Why shouldn't #radio silence be used?

Radio Silence is the name of a book set in the heartstopper universe by alice oseman.

(which also features a canon aspec character, pictured on the right: aled last!)

and as such: #radio silence is their MAIN FANDOM tag. it is inconsiderate to flood their tag with content from another fandom, especially one as popular as hazbin hotel. but unfortunately, this is something that is already happening because of radiosilence as a ship tag.

and if you're not convinced this is something that bothers radio silence fans, here's some input from the fans themselves:

it's better than the mistagging of #radio silence with the space. but ONLY on tumblr, because on tumblr, we're allowed the privilege of adding spaces to tags.

I still would like to discourage it though, because for as long as this tag is popularly in use, there will constantly be people mistagging it with a space. I've done what I could to nudge people to fix their tagging but I can't constantly keep this up.

plus, on other sites such as tiktok and twitter, #radiosilence IS literally the main tag for the book because you literally can't add spaces for tags on those sites. so the radio silence book fandom is likely even more drowned out on those sites than here on tumblr because of the popularisation of #radiosilence as a tag for one-sided radiostatic.

I will not be forcing anyone to ditch #radiosilence without the space as a tag though, especially when it's already so popularly used and essentially impossible to get everyone to change it, but I encourage you to go for other options if you are willing to such as:

decided via a poll last month that was ongoing before #radiosilence was initially popularised, held by ChaoticAce2005 and me.

it's the tag that I always use for one-sided radiostatic and is decently used by others as well! and you won't run into any issue with clashing with the radio silence/osemanverse fandom at all this way. but again, I will not force you, all I ask is that AT THE VERY LEAST, don't tag #radio silence with the space and to nudge others to change it if they do.

please help to silence the radio silence tag!

(the tagging issue on tiktok and twitter are outside of my jurisdiction as I don't engage with hazbin on twitter and I don't even use tiktok, but if possible, it would be appreciated if anyone is able to spread the alternate tag #onewaybroadcast on those sites too to discourage flooding the radio silence book fandom! I believe the original person to coin #radiosilence has been doing work to discourage it on tiktok too, any help is appreciated!)

That would be absolutely hilarious. Link finds some glue and twine.

It would also be cool for the lore to imply that Link's makeshift weapons inspired people in TotK. This gremlin running around and killing monsters for parts in his underpants starts the movement of NPCs fighting back, lol.

I find it interesting that Link can fuse items together using Rauru's arm, but you can see a lot of NPCs use makeshift weapons with combinations as well without needing a special power. Monster also use fused weapons although the constructs are the only enemies that can actively combine items in combat besides Link.

The NPCs use much more basic combinations compared to Link who can fuse even bizarre things like a piece of Hyrule Castle ruins. It makes me think that maybe in the future if they re-release BotW, maybe they could add a basic fuse mechanic to the item screen but with more restrictions. I like how the fuse mechanic really improves weapon functionality and durability, so I feel like BotW could benefit from adding some fuse options. Adding Chu Chu jelly to shields, mushrooms to spears, diamonds and other gems, monster teeth—simple things like that I think go a long way.

I've just been wondering how Nintendo would handle re-releases of BotW and TotK in the future? I think the best case scenario would be to combine the two games into one and have them play seamlessly into each other although I know that this is very unlikely and Nintendo will most likely just re-release them as-is separately. To have them play seamlessly into one another would require a lot of work that I don't think Nintendo would bother with unfortunately.

I like the map for BotW because the topography is very clear and easy to understand compared to maps like we see in Baulder's Gate 3 which I find incredibly difficult to read especially on the minimap where I can't discern what is and is not separated by a cliff. (i understand that it's in the style of tabletop game maps, but I don't find it easy to read. This is why I play BG3 with my sister so I can just follow her when she already knows where to go)

TotK is the same map as BotW, but now I've noticed that I find it incredibly difficult to read the names of small locations like caves. With the text being brown on brown and the font size being awfully small for certain landmarks, I can barely read it even when it's on the TV. I zoom in but the text shrinks when I do that.

I do wear prescription lenses but I don't really have any other issues with my vision. I can't be the only one who can't read these names...

There may be some aspects of BotW that I prefer over TotK but the loading screen ain't one of them.

BotW has the UGLIEST loading screen especially the red version in Master Mode being an affront to my retinas while TotK has an incredible loading screen with lovely colours and the map inclusion is absolutely genius. Genuinely the best loading screen of the series and I hope all future titles innovate on this design.

Sure the little animated sprites on the BotW loading screen were cute, but it didn't make up for the awfully ugly presentation. Plus the loading screens were awfully long for having to stare at such intense contrast of White and Black or Red and Black.

Watched Oppenheimer and it was kind of "meh" but honestly I had never even heard of the guy until this movie, so the way the story jumps around was a bit confusing because I wasn't familiar with what happened to Oppenheimer. The bits about the atomic bombs were interesting but I do have a hard time believing that he actually really cared about the Japanese people who were destroyed and suffered by the bombs.

The acting was good, but the jumping between three different periods in time was hard to follow for someone hearing this story for the first time. Also why was the middle time period in back and white? I got the gist by the end but they didn't need to jump around that much honestly

The orchestral theme for the movie is spectacular though. It's an amazing piece of music. Actually I like that music more than the movie overall because the orchestration and the changing tempo is just that good.

Why do people tag both dogs and cats when posting pictures of just one of those animals? I follow the tag for pets in general, so I am not bothered by seeing dogs and cats, but I keep noticing posts that tag an animal that does not exist in the post.

It's unorganized and spammy. Probably will just report posts for spam regardless of how cute the animal.

I understand some people who are asexual and/or aromantic can have sex or date etc, but please stop saying "we're not robots" when referring to this because those of us who do not have sex nor date nor experience any sort of sexual or romantic attraction are not robots for not doing or experiencing those things.

I do not date nor have sex nor do I care to do any of those things as I am neither sexual nor romantic, and that does not make me a robot or unfeeling or loveless.

Love is not just sexual or romantic, and having sex and being romance does not make someone human. I am human without sex and romance.

I honestly don't care what people ship, just don't make statements about people like me that makes us out to be inhuman. Not having sex and not dating doesn't make us robots. We are perfectly happy the way we are and there is nothing wrong with us.
