Pitch Perfect 3 ★★★☆☆, 50% It breaks my heart to give it a 3 stars and a 50%...I think its better than PP 2 but still the lack of focus is irritating. This is truly the last pitch, pitches. I'm so sad that I can't watch Fat Amy anymore. I'm even more sad to see how my crazy ladies didn't get a proper sendoff. Yes it's realistic especially when it comes to Becca. Right from the start, she is the only one that has a true passion for music. The other girls love to sing, love to compete, etc; and we fall in love with these ladies since PP 1 but still the show is about Becca. I dont know wth they're trying to do with the rest of the characters. They want to give them a background? Not necessary and wrong place bro. It's a sendoff and you dont make people see something new when theyre about to say goodbye. Its better to develop deeper what's already there. You know, I do love it: knowing these lovely ladies deeper, new developments, but in my opinion what they did was sloppy. Too many subplots. And not all of them done properly. Fat Amy + Aubrey + Becca + The Bellas Goodbye. Jesus. Fast-paced mess. There ain't many memorable songs too... BUUUUUT. I love how it made me laugh. They're just so stupid, the jokes lmao. They tune down the dirty talk, thank god the jokes still work. Fat Amy stole all the spotlight, she's the hero of PP and always will be. I love to know who she really is and why she is the way she is. I think they did a great job on her. She's someone so differrent but you can actually relate deeply to her. Anyway, its still a good movie to fill your weekend. Its funny, its an easy watch. And seriously Fat Amy is a joy to watch. Oh and there's a great information about an Esther. Go find her!

Susah Sinyal ★★★★★, 90% Wow I spent the whole movie laughing my ass out or wiping my tears! Another great creation by Ernest Prakasa. It was surprising, to be honest. I went in without knowing what the movie is about. So it's pretty amazing. A movie about mom and daughter. Oh I long for this kind of movie. And I am so proud that Indonesia can actually make it greatly. The story is about Ellen a hardworking lawyer/single mom. Raising her teenage daughter Kiara alone is a struggle for herself especially when Grandma died. Ellen and Kiara don't have a warm relationship as mother and daughter. There's this hole between them. You can see how they long for each other, how desperately they want to connect but don't know how. Ellen struggles to keep it balance between work and Kiara. Ellen doesn't understand her daughter but she wants to get to know her yet she loves her job and can't keep away from it. And Kiara is a teen so you know how she acts. So Ellen take them both to Sumba for a holiday. And I know you can guess the rest of the story. That's why I am so freaking surprised at the climax. Ellen said something to Kiara that I did not expect at all. That was the best narrative from the movie. It shows the dephts of Ellen's fear and the bottom of it which is pretty depressing. But totally relatable. I love how Ernest does that. We fall in love with the characters yet he still find a way to make us love them even more. So go on waste your money on this one: its freaking funny, idiotic even, touching, relatable, and so warm. My heart is full of beautiful dandelions. Its a great family movie.
