Two Demon Daddies Short # 11 Sleepy Margaret

(Margaret yawned and stretched her arms)

Angel Dust: Awww. (He stroked Margaret’s hair) You tired, sweet?

(Margaret babbled sleepily)

Angel Dust: Yeah. I know you are tired.

(Margaret rubbed her eyes) 

Angel Dust: Come, sweets. It’s time for your nap. (He picked her up and carried her to her room. He placed her in her crib and covered her up. He kissed on the top of her head) Sleep well, devil cakes. (He walked out of Margaret’s room and returned to the lobby. He sat down on the couch. He stretched his arms)

Angel Dust: Man, being a Papa really tire you out. (He laid down on the pillow on the couch) I’m gonna take a nap too. (Angel Dust went to sleep)

(Meanwhile, Niffty is in her room, coloring in her book. She took out a pink crayon and colored the unicorn mane pink. And the fairy tale castle page is done. She put the pink crayon back in the box. She moistens her finger and thumb and flipped onto the next page)

Niffty: Ok. Time to start coloring the next page. (She pulled out a blue crayon and colored the water blue) I just love to color with my crayons. (She hummed to herself. She colored the angel fish red and its stripes yellow) There. That should do it. (She giggled softly to herself. She colored the sea weed green. And the eel. And the sea turtle. She colored the blow-fish orange and cream) There. (She colored the sand yellow. And the ocean page is done) Perfect. (Her tummy growled) Oh, goodness. I’m getting quite famished. I’m gonna get something to munch on. (She tip-toed out of her room and into the lobby. She tip-toed past Angel Dust, sleeping on the couch. She went to the counter. She carefully grabbed a couple of tarts and a can of grape soda. She went back to her room and quietly ate and drank) Ahh. That’s so refreshing. (She wiped the sweat off of her brow with her handkerchief. And then, went back to do coloring. Meanwhile in the lobby, Angel Dust woke up from his nap. He got up. He stretch his body and his arms) Ahh. (He dusted his suit) Best nap I had in the whole underworld. (He heard Margaret cooing) Oh, sounds like Margaret’s awake. (He walked to her room) Ok, Margaret. Papa’s coming. (He went to her crib and picked her up) Hello, Margie. Did you have a nice sleep? (Margaret nodded. Angel Dust chuckled. He kissed her forehead) My sweet little devil cakes. 

(Meanwhile at the bar, Charlie is sitting next to Husk)

Charlie: Uhh, Husk? Are you ok?

Husk: Hmm.. my cuteness overlord sense is tinkling.

Angel Dust: My sweet little girl. You just want Papa, don’t ya? 

(Margaret nodded. Angel Dust chuckled. He kissed on the top of her head) 

Niffty: Hey, Mr Angel.

Angel Dust: Hi, Niffty.

Niffty: Why was Margaret fussing?

Angel Dust: She just wanna be held.

Niffty: Aww. Poor Margie.

Angel Dust: She ok now, sugar. 

Niffty: That’s good.

Angel Dust: Yes.

Husk: Angel, you did a very good job with the baby.

Angel Dust: Thank you.

Husk: Don’t mention it. 

(Husk sipped his root beer can. Alastor walked up to Angel Dust)

Alastor: Hello, darling.

Angel Dust: Hey, Al.

Alastor: I heard that Margaret got a bit fussy today.

Angel Dust: She just wanted me to hold her.

Alastor: How sweet.

Angel Dust: Yeah.

(Margaret sighed as she snuggles on Angel’s chest. Angel and Alastor chuckled)

Angel Dust: Nothing much. Just waking Margaret up.
