Love is freedom

I don’t know why it’s perceived as a bad thing to long for love.

Intimacy is something that we all desire whether we like it or not…

We often neglect this feeling in fear of being shamed or trying to fit into the “I can do this alone” stigma that everyone throws on us.

But In reality ‘intimacy is oxygen’

This saying really freed me from my feelings of longing for love because In all honesty, who doesn’t want to be loved? Who doesn’t want to be admired and taken cared of?

It makes us happier and healthier in fact. Life is hard enough as it is and to have someone to go through it with is just something we all deserve. Isn’t it?

We are being taught to mould ourselves into this ‘hard-body’ where we supposedly don’t need anyone or anything. But is that life?

If you are reading this blog, I just want you to do yourself a favour and be yourself unapologetically! Love as hard as you want and as deeply as you desire.

Our problem is that we often want this love to be reciprocated by the wrong person. Love isn’t supposed to be difficult or lonely, it’s supposed to be freeing and beautiful.

Love is freedom.
