Back on my Destiny 2 positivity. Really enjoying the fact there's new loot, a new vehicle and more new loot on the horizon. The Prophecy dungeon refresh means there's new and updated perk pools, some bangers in there. This weekend just gone, I managed to get a Dragonfly/Voltshot Prosecutor and an Envious Assassin/Incandescent Wild Style from the GM. Looking forward to the Vortex frame Stasis sword in a few weeks. Currently on the hunt for a new Title with Repulsor Brace/Destabilising Rounds along with a Hullabaloo with Voltshot/Chain Reaction in this year's Guardian Games. Side note, the new vehicle type, the Skimmer, is awesome and refreshing. It's been hinted that Recluse and the Black Armory weapons are also returning and that'll just be the icing on the cake.

Been meaning to make a post about this for the past week but I don't even know where to start. Pokemon Legends ZA. Pokemon. Legends. ZA. A new Pokemon game, a new Legends game at that. A lot of the community speculated a Legends game but what nobody saw coming was a Kalos/Gen 6 Legends game. Don't get me wrong I'm a little bit gutted it's not a Legends Johto game but still hyped Kalos and Gen 6 is getting more love. It has raised so many questions though from just the trailer alone. Past? Future? New megas? New regional forms? Which starters? New/different pokeballs? It's like every time I go on Twitter there's a new theory, a new point raised, a new question asked. Its awesome. Time to get hyped.

Pokemon Day 2024 is about a month away at this point. That means we're about a month away from finding out what, if any, core main series title will release this year or beyond. I say 'if any' on the off chance they decide to drop more DLC for Scarlet and Violet, which could happen, I wouldn't put it past them at this point. From all the teases and easter eggs though, it's looking like we're going to be returning to Johto or Unova in some way, shape or form. The big question is what are they going to be like? If they're remakes are they going to be faithful like BDSP, or more like Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee? Are we going to go back in time like Legends Arceus and discover things like the original dragon, the original fusion of Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyurem or are we going to learn more about Celebi and see burned tower in its original state? Could we see a possible sequel to Black/White/Black 2/White 2? The wait is killing me, that's all I know.

I can't believe after 10 years, arguably one of the greatest anime shows has come to an end. Attack on Titan will always be up there for me. An absolutely incredible series from start to finish, and I'm sad to see it end.

Weird to think only a couple of posts ago I was really enthusiastic about D2 and where it was heading. Now, I'm not too sure. First of all, it sucks that so many staff got laid off from Bungie, I hope they all land on their feet. Secondly, what does this actually mean for the game? A lot of people cancelling preorders after the ordeal, a lot of people also aren't. I haven't pre ordered myself but I will being playing The Final Shape mainly because I want to know how it ends, I can't just give up on this nearly 10 year old journey, plus there are still people at bungie putting their heart and soul into the game despite what's happened. The whole situation is a bit of a mess at this point. They really need to hit it out of the park for The Final Shape.

Finished Spiderman 2 just over a week after its release, and what a game. Great game from start to finish. I love the Easter eggs and teasers for where they are gonna go next. I'm looking forward to the Wolverine game that's been confirmed to take place in the same universe. Cross over down the line, maybe? Who knows? All I know is I have every faith in Insomniac to continue making great games.

Mad to think the last Destiny post I made was pre Lightfall and now The Final Shape is on the horizon. Lightfall wasn't great, it was good in some aspects but overall not a patch on The Witch Queen from the year before. Again with the seasons that have followed they've had their highs and lows. However, I feel a lot more enthusiastic about The Final Shape and beyond. Hoping the campaign and the story telling ties up a lot of loose ends, unlike Lightfall...

Haven't made a Pokemon post since Ceruledge and Armarouge we're announced and we're now at the point where the first DLC releases next month. Scarlet and Violet still aren't in the best of place bug wise but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying them. Finished my third playthrough recently so I've sunk quite a bit of time into them. Really looking forward to both DLCs and where the core titles will go next.

As I mentioned in my previous post I got round to finishing Digimon Ghost Game and now there is a void, a void for all things Digimon. At some point I plan to buy Next Order for the Switch but I'm holding out because I don't know how long it's going to be until the next Digimon game. As well as Next Order I really want a Vital Hero, I like the idea of doing exercises and stuff to raise mons. I also really want a D-3 digivice, it's always been my favourite style of digivice and they've announced one releasing next year. Really can't wait to see or hear about the next game release though.

Brief anime post about what I've been watching this past year. Kept up to date with My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho (which ended, big sad) and Attack on Titan (Final part out soon!) As well as starting Chainsaw Man and Bleach. I watched all of Naruto and Shippuden and finally got round to finishing Digimon Ghost Game. Been busy. They've all been absolutely awesome as well. One of the best decisions I ever made was branching out into other animes after Dragon Ball Super ended. So many great ones.

Am I making a post dedicated to two new Pokemon? God damn right I am. Ceruledge and Armarouge got shown in the latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer and they're just so awesome it's unreal. Both have made it into my top 5 fire types even before I've had chance to use them, just on design alone, they're awesome. Will definitely be using both of them on my playthroughs come November!

It's been just over a week since the Destiny showcase and I'm still processing it. I've watched it several times and I'm hyped. I'm loving that it's giving major Mass Effect and Cyberpunk vibes. I feel like just from the aesthetics alone I can tell this is gonna be my favourite expansion if the content is there, which it looks like it will be. A new, futuristic capitol on a new planet. New subclasses. New alien race. New spruced up, pyramid enhanced Cabal. New enemy/mini boss. Plus the expected, new armour, weapons and exotics. Its gonna be awesome.

The other day I finished my second playthrough, the new game+ run, of Digimon Survive and my god what a game. I'll admit I was skeptical about the 70/30 split between visual novel and tactical rpg at first but the story is just that good it's hard not to love. The story and writing is great, makes for awesome, loveable characters and even environments. My few and only critiques are about certain Digimon. Just want to start by saying all the partner choices I think were absolutely spot on. The Digimon used all fit really well and bounced back and forth with their partners, they really mirrored them. Plus I think for the most part they were Digimon that hadn't really seen a lot of screen time before, or should I say, I'd not really seen them much prior to this game. During my first playthrough I started to, not grow tired of Agumon, but just ponder who else could have been used. I get that he's the main mascot but it's fun to dream. But then further into the game *spoilers ahead* when he fuses with the Professors Gabumon I thought it was awesome how digidestined/tamers from different generations managed to come together and make that happen, whereas in other media its usually two that are the same age, from the same group and know each other in and out. My other few critiques concern Falcomon and Labramon, well, not necessarily them but their digivolutions, which technically isn't really the games fault because these are already kind of set things I guess. Labramon suits Aoi 100% but the digivolutions in my opinion, not so much, not aesthetically anyway. Sweet dog to demon dogs? Bit odd but didn't take away from the experience at all. Finally Falcomon, it's to my understanding that it's a different Falcomon than used in recent media, its original concept or something? Which is fine, he's cool, along with his digivolutions but by the time you get to mega I just feel like Varodurumon didn't sit right. I feel like Ravemon would have been much better, even if its design was tweaked to fit more in line with this version of Falcomon. I mean come on, Minoru loves super heroes and Ravemon fits the bill perfect, well, better than Varodurumon does. That's it, apart from these few minor critiques I have loved this game in and out. As of right now I've experienced 2 of the endings so no doubt at some point I'll go back and do the others. Can't wait to see what comes next.
