When Haru invited Legoshi over to her new apartment all he could think about was how much of a buffoon he would look like cramped onto her bunny-sized couch, or how he'd have to hold it if he needed to use the bathroom since he'd no doubt break a toilet built for someone her size. He arrived to see the front door was larger than expected and let out a restrained sigh, this place was clearly intended for larger herbivores like deer or goats and Haru had step stools scattered about to reach some of the larger installations of the house. As he followed her inside however it soon became clear he'd have to stay crouched over to avoid hitting the roof or light fixtures. Cearly Haru saw how sore his neck was after barely a minute of standing and brought him into her compact kitchen to sit down.

Despite Legoshi hugging his legs to his chest he was comfortable resting in her little home, the soft midday light and savoury smell of turmeric coming from their lunch on the stove made him smile briefly. When his eyes refocused Haru was smiling back at him from next to the stove and the sudden eye contact made him both run red in the face and begin sweating coldly down the back of his neck. I think she could tell he doesn't really visit friend's often and that thought made him even redder has he stammered to find a way to talk about literally anything.

When lunch was ready Haru filled two bowls fit for Legoshi's size and pushed her chair nice and close to Legoshi despite the amount of space available on the table . They ate amidst easy conversation.

Here's my two day late piece for Drawtober day 11. The prompt was forest and I felt really inspired to create a sweet little piece of a delivery driver. I was really inspired by an old OTGW piece by @mashaalapsha so you can see a lot of shape and colour influence in my piece thanks to her! I was also in the mood to write a creative accompaniment for this piece so I hope you enjoy it cause I loved working on it! I'll be back later with today's Drawtober so that I can hopefully get back on schedule after a stressful work week.

Honeybee Express

Fall was always a chaotic season for courier companies. You could make all of your deliveries on time and somehow it still wouldn't be enough for all the greedy butterflies or bees stocking up for the winter. Hives or local businesses were always requesting more than a local supplier could handle or, more than likely, some old painted lady bought as much as your scooter could handle so she could jar it all in her basement for the next thirty years.

Young Cillian had been with Honeybee Express for all but five months, all of which was over the summer when pollen was abundant and drivers were available. So when old Hamish told Cillian "You be careful on those backroads in Hickory Wood! Those bumps an' ruts ain't worth speeding over." he really should have listened. A little too hard on the gas was about to cost Cillian a basket of Gladiolus and a bruise on the abdomen... No doubt Hamish would have a wry smile on his face the second Cillian walks through with dirt on his cap and a crease in his wing.

I wasn't feeling very well yesterday so I didn't get my drawtober day 8 done on time. Here's eight and nine together since they both have that casual furry vibe to em'

Day 8 was cranberries and I wanted to show my cranberry bog appreciation. Not gonna lie I've always wanted to do this and that's why I self-inserted my fursona in. I think this is the first art of my fursona, Marbas, on this account ( I don't draw him enough but I'm trying!) but yeah he's a dragon :l I'm in the middle of trying to redesign him but expect more Elmo dragon in the future cause he's my beloved, sweet boy.

Day 9 was woodstove and I love this one! The subject is a casual OC of mine, Lindsay. Pretty sure my girlfriend has drawn her more than I have but she felt perfect for this cozy cabin setting. It makes me miss the woodstove I grew up with....
