Adorable forked yearling! He was roadkill, sadly, very near my house. Hit while in velvet and had an unusual tine. He's staying with me.

Stag dancer.
While lycanthropy is most famous for predatory man eating were-beasts, it was also employed by other nature cults for more benign purposes, such as a ritual to honor the hunt and ensure future success tracking game.
These cults were more likely to chose game animals such as deer or bison instead of the more common wolf or bear lycanghropes. While these forms were not typically meant for attacking people, the stag dancer was more than capable of doing so should the situation arise.

Bleeding Heart
I made this funeral for a dead barn swallow that was gifted to me. Today is my birthday, and also Remembrance of the Dead day in my country (it’s just meant to be :P) while it’s mainly focused on victims from WWII, it is also a contemplative day for myself…🌱

Over 70 individual art pieces and many more natural specimens make up this finished piece. I have been working on this one for a while! I’m calling it “Unnatural History Museum”
The second image is a detail shot, the third a long exposure shot of it in the dark so you can see the glow-in-the-dark elements
