Finally picking the names for my rewrite of Maybe Ever After

I'm currently in the middle of rewriting my Jin/Yoongi series into an original work. I've finally narrowed down my list of names for the new characters and I can't pick now!

Hello! Long time no see

Hi friends!! I hope everyone is doing well. I thought I'd pop on here and show I'm still alive. So many new things have happened and even though I'm talking to the void I'd love to post about it.

Recently I got into a writing kick. I'm still forever unsure if I want to continue my bts fanfaction or go ahead and convert it into an original work. Nonetheless, I have storyboarded a great portion of both the Meadows and Maybe Ever After rewrites. Would you be interested in seeing that?

I will likely be more active on here for the next week or so as I am needing to access a butt load of writing material and resources that I have collected on this blog.

Overdue Explanation (an overview of this blog from the beginning) TW!!!!

Hi everyone... this is going to be a long and sad post, but it is one that is long overdue.

In March of 2018 I revamped this old account into a new one where I could share my love for BTS and quickly share my love of writing.

I finished my first series "Meadows" after only three months of daily grinding to update on an almost weekly basis. It was then that I found my great passion for writing and story telling.

Until August of that year, I worked steadily to pump out content as much as I could. I wrote more one shots (or two shots like Finding Solace on the Brink of Death) and even began another series "Maybe Ever After." I got about 6 chapters in when I had to return to college after summer break. I managed to publish 13 installments of the series (around 80k words) by the end of 2018...

And then I didn't publish anything until the summer of 2021...

And then I didn't post anything after that...

So here I am, hoping to give you a run down of the reasons why I do not think I can ever come back to this blog.

Note, the information under the cut may be triggering to you. Please read with caution or do not read at all if sadness, tragedy, and death will make you uncomfortable. So, TL;DR--until my life stops sucking I will never be able to focus on this blog the way I used to.

When I transferred to a new college in the fall of 2018 I quickly became depressed with my new environment and even became very sick with mental health issues. Thankfully by the 2nd semester I had found my niche and began to become well again. I think I posted some little things in the spring of 2019.

By that fall I was coming to my last year of college. I actually felt motivated at one point and hammered out a decent bit of the next chapter of Maybe Ever After. I only ended up posting half of the chapter since it was all I had completed up to that point and I really wanted to become a presence in the community again.

We all know how march of 2020 went and so I do not think I have to explain much; the world was on fire and it was my first year out of college in a full time job. Enough said.

After I graduated college I moved to another state to pursue a job. All and all I was simply learning how to be an adult outside of college and survive on my own. Hence the continued lack of updates.

However, in the spring of this year, a great tragedy fell on me. I lost the man I was dating to a traumatic betrayal and murder committed by someone I trusted and loved very much.

For the last 6 months I have been forced to pursue help for my PTSD and other mental health issues that I have struggled my whole life with. If there was any chance of me to continue being on this blog, it went out the window with this tragedy.

On occasion I am inspired to write and so I add to my outline for a Meadows original novel. But otherwise there is nothing major that I have the capacity to write. I hope and pray that one day I can give you guys something, if theres any of you that are still waiting and wondering.

I am sorry that I disappeared from the community so suddenly. This has always been a safe haven for me... so when things got really good, I felt no need for me to seek comfort and support here... and when things got so bad, there is nothing that this blog can do to help me...

All that being said, I have a desire to return but I am self aware enough to know that will never happen. I will continue to leave this blog open and running so that you may enjoy my past writings. I do check this blog occasionally for comments and messages, so please do not hesitate to reach out that way. These stories are still mine and are owned by me, so I ask my loyal followers to handle my stories with respect and care.

If there is ever a day where this changes and the world is brighter again; or if there is a day that my love for writing begins again and I finish my Original Novel... then I will join you guys with open arms and share our love for BTS once again. Until then, please take care of yourselves.

Hi everyone!!! Sorry to go MIA for a lil bit!! A couple major things have popped up in my life:

I had to return back to work from vacation and yearly training is rough. On top of that, there has been a death in my family and I must be present for that.

Please know I am always thinking about my fics and working towards producing quality work!!

Maybe Ever After | The Story Thus Far

A/N: This post contains spoilers! Proceed with caution!

It is so lovely to join you all again! I intended to make a come back quite some time ago, but the last year has been... crazy to say the least.

In the last few weeks I have been hard at work to bring you chapter 9 of my Kim Seokjin | Min Yoongi fanfic, Maybe Ever After!

I encourage you to reread from the beginning to make sure you don't miss out on anything. But, I have also written up a short, little story synopsis if you prefer. There are spoilers, so beware!

Once upon a time there lived a Prince in the Kingdom of Avis. Seokjin was a kind and happy prince; one that would surely rule as justly as his father. From childhood, Seokjin followed his parents around to learn about all the neat things they were doing. Sometimes, he’d accompany his mother around the castle as she supervised things inside the home. Others he would spend in front of his Father’s desk, asking a dozen questions about the buttons adorning his clothing.

All of this occurred outside of school hours of course. The schooling he received was unparalleled and prepared him for the day that he would take over his father’s rule. Of course, this rigorous education never stopped him from getting into trouble with his friends. Nor did it ever prepare him for what was to come.

At the age of twenty-one, the prince became betrothed to a woman named Odella. Odella was the daughter of a noble family; she was quirky, humorous (if not a little blunt), and overall a lovely woman to be around. The two of them spent much time together, mostly through their parent’s scheming.

Prince Seokjin quickly learned that Odella was a fascinating person with many interests. She was quite crafty and loved to make embroidery on her clothing; she also had quite the knack for cooking and loved to bake cakes and roast potatoes.

“We tell her she doesn’t have to do anything if she doesn’t want to,” her father assured when the royal family came to visit. Odella had come out with sweets for them to eat while the King and her Father were talking.

“With cakes as good as these, I’m almost tempted to hire her as the royal baker instead!”

And then Seokjin learned that she was an emotional person. Everything she experienced was always felt with such deep emotion. It made the prince wonder if his emotions were ever that vivid.

Odella was a beautiful girl; she was quirky and funny too. They got along quite well and slowly became good friends.

But The Prince could never love her more than just a friend.

Princess Ariadne was visiting with her father, a king from an allied country, when Seokjin first laid eyes on her.

The pair would randomly bump into each other in the halls or in the rose garden. After a short time, the two began to meet purposefully.

The more time that The Prince spent with The Princess, the less time he made for Odella. What was a good friendship and a healthy partnership turned into a lonely, one sided love from her.

After being dumped, Odella vowed to take her revenge against the Prince and all the royalty in the kingdom. When the warlock, Min Yoongi, sought her out, she knew that her plan would come together quickly.

What she didn’t know is that the warlock’s own unrequited love would be the downfall of many.

Her spell turned into a curse, trapping all of Avis’ inhabitants within a storybook. They were forced to live out the rest of eternity between gilded pages and rehearsed lines. That was, until you came along.

As a descendant of Ariadne, you are the one prophesized to break the spell. This can only be achieved by diving head first into the story of Avis (initially against your will) and uncover the secrets hiding there.

There, you learn that the Prince is just that. He’s a kind man that treats you like a princess. The Warlock is firm and hard to get to know. His wisdom lets you see another side of the world you never knew existed.

But while you begin to feel conflicted about this love triangle, the storybook world continues to move. With the clock ticking again, the fields are growing, dust is collecting, and the people are dying. Life has begun again in the Kingdom of Avis and you have no idea how to stop it.

When you meet Maia, the descendent of Odella, the pieces finally start coming together.

Knowing that a limited number of people can even leave the cursed book, will you be caught in a romance or will you be able to save the people you’ve come to care about?
