Series Summary: Having zero passion for Dueling or even Duel Monsters, Hachiman Hikigaya is the last person you would expect to even attempt to enter the most elite high school for upcoming Pro-Duelists and Card Designers in Japan and yet here he is. Wielding an Ojama Deck, this loser loner is forced to butt into the lives of other students after his dorm Resident Advisor, Professor Hiratsuka Shizuka, forces him to join the Service Club along with Yukino Yukinoshita, the Ice Queen of Obelisk Blue. I hit the tennis ball with a forehand slice. “I chain Maxx C! This lets me draw a card every time you Special Summon this turn.”

Totsuka got onto Pegasus and returned my forehand slice with a stick volley, scoring him an Action Card. “I activate the Action Spell Lock Draw,” he told me. “This prevents you from drawing until you discard an Action Spell.”

“For the rest of this turn, right?” Yuigahama asked.

“No,” Yukinoshita said. “Lock Draw’s effect keeps going even after the End Phase.”

“What about Hikky’s Draw?”

“I won’t be able to draw for turn either,” I told her as a tennis ball materialised in my hand. “No effects to chain.”

Totsuka smiled. “Thank you!” he told Pegasus. “So then, let’s resolve the chain together!”

i finished oregairu. i gotta let it simmer a bit more before i can actually make notes, but i really liked it. it's kinda weird tho cuz this took me a long time to watch despite being not really that long, so finishing this feels a lot more like finishing an epic than it probably should.
