Hey guys, popping in from hiatus to share a link to a project my dear friend has started...if you can reblog, share or post on Twitter, please do. This isn't just about Wonho. This is about all idols and how things need to change. If we sleep on this we're sleeping on all the other idols the industry has failed like Hanbin and Sulli and Jonghyun. We don't want to lose any more idols to scandals and poor management.

Warning: rant. TL;DR: I agree with taetaesbaebaepsae.  I felt very much the same too: of just kinda going “no thanks” to any other k-pop than the groups I’m into now. Despite only becoming a k-pop person (if you will) in late December of 2018. I already have a hard enough time getting attached to groups. I have to feel ‘connected’ to them, and I lucked out on that with finding BTS and Monsta X. Yes, I do listen to some other groups but I don’t stan them to the extent that I do of BTS and Monsta X. I never thought I’d cry over k-pop out of all things. I was utterly shocked when it was revealed that Wonho left, to where I thought it was a joke until I saw it was coming from Billboard. Those rumors are unsubstantiated, and if they were true, that was years ago. If Wonho just apologized sincerely for it, most fans would accept it and move on. People make mistakes. BUT people change. K-pop doesn’t seem to care about the idols being people as a whole, just as long as they look pretty and do what they’re supposed to. I would go on a rant about how unfairly I think female idols are treated, but male idols get treated badly too even if it’s not as obvious. I didn’t cry until I watched Monsta X perform “Follow” without him. That’s when I realized he wasn’t there anymore, for real. And that the other members were unhappy. I couldn’t even finish watching the video, that’s how upset I got. And I don’t cry often for like... anything. He was one of my favorites (I have a hard time picking a bias, so the entire group basically ends up as a bias!). I always disliked solo stans because they don’t seem to get that k-pop groups are like a sports team in some regards. Everyone has to be in the team for the team to work at their best (not saying individual members aren’t talented, just saying 7 talented members bring more talent than 6 talented members).  I see all these hashtags and people putting sticky notes on Starship’s building and getting an ad for Wonho on NY Times Square and doing a petition but... I don’t know. Of course I want him back! We all want him back! But is Starship going to care? 2019 is one of the worst years for k-pop. 

Hiatus

I'm not gonna make a long post about this because I'm too exhausted and heartbroken.

After what's happened with my ult group Monsta X I am feeling too much and it's too hard to keep worrying about all my boys and it's really affecting my mental health.

This was supposed to be a place to escape and feel happy things and now all I am is sad and angry. I will answer asks for the next couple of hours and then go inactive.

I will still be positing commissions for both imagines and astrology, but not answering asks or reblogging for a while.

I just am re evaluating stanning kpop at all because of how hard this has hit me and I need to take a step back and think.

I had the urge to just delete this entire blog because I feel so hopeless and helpless about things. I hope you all have a good week and again, asks are open for a couple of hours and commissions will still be posted.

can I ask an honest question? Are there any guys who are genuinely with someone bcs they like you and see you as an equal, or not really? Because honestly, I’m beginning to lose hope whenever I see some things online, even if a friend of mine tries to reassure me that i should have hope and that someone kind will come along the way someday, but... Some days I feel quite lonely and tired. I just wish i had someone who wasn’t a douche & was kind to me tbh.

This is something I struggle with too, Anon. I’ve had some bad relationships with men, and a couple of good ones, and what it all boils down to is this:

To some extent, how you’re treated will be dependent on what you put up with. If you date someone and they treat you badly and you don’t speak up or leave, they’ll continue to treat you badly and other guys that you meet in that circle will see you being okay with that kind of behavior.

As women we can’t control being treated badly or cheated on…but we can control not letting that same person do it to us again.

I think there are people who will treat you well. But you have to treat yourself well first.

I hate being sick

unless I’m getting waited on hand and food to a degree. but then again that gets boring/irritating. also I’m dealing with female issues so I kinda just want to curl up in bed and scream for chocolate but at the same time i got stuff to do.
