Pansexuality vs. Bisexuality -Choice of Word?

The only real diffrence between being bi and pan is the name. Because it depends on a persons definition of the word. Traditionally the very first definition of Bisexual was the attraction to men and women and/or the attractions to ones Own gender as well as the opposite gender. These definitions were created with the definition of “bi” meaning two and that many people we’re not trans, genderfluid, or “genderless “Most of the time you were biologically born a girl you stayed a girl biological born a boy you stayed a boy . Boys wore pants girls wore dresses, you were taught to stay your role and were shunned (sometimes even killed) for going against it. There was no need for Pansexual at time time because although they probably existed (but didn’t know it or did and was closetest). But as times changed there have become a lot of people who do not fit into traditional roles of “gender” this is when The term Pansexual started to grow. Pansexual became a word used to describe people who like all people (usually but not necessarily) without caring about gender or biological sex. But as the term Pansexual started to grow the term bisexual started to grow different definitions. It changed from just liking men and women to liking 2 (or more) types of people. This is why I say they are essentially the same. You can be Pansexual and like people but have a preference and not like men but not care for the term bisexual. While you can also be bisexual and like more than 2 genders and like everybody and not care for the term Pansexual. Or you can claim both. It’s all a matter of preference.

Ran into Mitsuwa on the street in Harajuku after this weekend’s Tokyo Rainbow Pride Parade. Her look includes an Angelic Pretty dress, a HeartE wings backpack, and Yosuke platform sandals. She’s also carrying a Pansexual Pride Flag (thanks to those who commented clarifying that).
