Like I know it’s a poke at the fans that ship the characters and I know it’s all in jest but sometimes it feels more like their shaming people than joking

I think I'm the only one that really cares about the time Eclipse had with lunar before. Before he got the star. Before the lunar and eclipse show really started going.

Lunar actually enjoyed being evil. I don't know how many people realize this. But he really seemed to have fun with it. And even when the lunar and eclipse show started. Lunar seemed to really enjoy it.

Of course like normal eclipse started getting more hostile. He had to maintain his grasp of course. Which came with the constant berating and eventual physical confrontations. Which made lunar see eclipses sour attitude as much more than just a sour attitude. Now it was an evil one. And all that joy faded.

Eclipse has given questionable responses for anything really correlating to lunar. In some responses it's like he can't believe he can care. In some responses it's framed as some sort of not care. In some responses lunar is no more than a tool. Eclipse likes to hide and so his responses are varied.

The most genuine we probably ever got was him questioning if he really cared for lunar. Which while isn't all the way there, He was alone and questioning his actions. Not confronted or asked why. He was alone and he couldn't figure out why he cared. So I like to believe some part of him cared. The punch was simply the beginning point to make him question if he really did.

Eclipse in the end decided that no he couldn't care. And so he made his treatment worse. I didn't kept getting worse and worse as he pushed himself further and further away. And while people with a sour attitude aren't exactly fun to hang around with, It's not like they're evil. But eclipse like always couldn't be good. So he became what was safe and comfortable. He became evil.

And so we lost this time of lunar having fun and eclipse questioning if maybe he actually made somebody he cared about.

Maybe there's a separate timeline where eclipse realizes maybe he wants to care about lunar. But that timeline sounds rare and by most Canon accounts shouldn't happen.

I still miss those good old days though. Lunar had fun being evil. Eclipse seem to experience some sort of endearment rambling with his brother.

And yet it all faded. And there is no longer hope of that endearment ever coming up again.

Thinking about no matter how you spin the Killcode family that Eclipse would have always been the black sheep. Doomed to not be the favorite, to not fit in, to not be enough whether they're redeemed or a "happy murder family". KC has changed he's a nice Dadcode now and they're all reforming. Bloodmoon has their obvious issues, but they are easily entertained, easily sated. Most importantly they have no personal grudges with the Celestial family (not until way later on/after dying which probably isn't where this kind of au would start anyway). But Eclipse? He's not "forgiving" enough, too angry, too spiteful, and will be the main problem point when it comes to getting along with the other Celestials. He's literally the problem child and it will take a lot of work to make him feel accepted. But what about the murder family? Killcode never changed for the better, they're all still murderous an antagonistic and the like. Now Eclipse isn't angry enough. Eclipse doesn't enjoy murder, not like that, he can barely commit to actually killing his most hated enemies much less revel in slaughtering humans. Bloodmoon is the favorite, more like their father in that sense, and Eclipse is just a disappointment. He can't win even when he's encouraged to be his worst because that's not what his worst looks like. Good luck getting any support from a Killcode like that.

Eclipse for once is actually claimed as family by someone and he can't even fit in it peacefully without a struggle. I love it.

Ruin Eclipse!! (My au)

[before someone yells at me, when I make mistakes I can’t undo them if they are in pen]

[with this said- I hate how Sun looks and will probably redo this at some point]

Have some lore too-

Ruin still has his Sun & Moon in his head, they can’t take full control but they can see through his eyes and sometimes even talk through him. The only person they ever talked to was Solar.

Sun has a plushie addiction that Ruin fully indulges in, Moon doesn’t mind too much. He just wishes sun wouldn’t make a big seen.

Moon talks the least outwardly and often has Ruin tell what he is saying.

Both Sun & Moon have their own rooms within the mindscape. Suns room has a hammock as well as a load of plushies and pillows and pictures on the walls, whilst Moon has a kind of nest bed with a ton of blankets and pillows, he also has a crap ton of video games that he and Sun play on occasion.

Ruin was actually hesitant when it came to his plan as he knew Solar would die, he tried everything he could to try and make it so Solar wouldn’t but he couldn’t find anything. Up until the day he executed his plan, he drove himself insane trying to think of something, sometimes even thinking about not doing it.

Unfortunately, he was hit with the awful truth that if he didn’t go on with his plan then this Dimension would collapse due to something the creators were doing. So he committed to save them and many more.

After all, what is one life to trillions?

He could save one and let trillions of Dimensions die, including this one, so some mad men could experiment with Wither Storms.

Or

He could save trillions and kill five thousand dimensions, including the person he cares about. The only true friend they have.

He never said anything about this world dieing. Even though it might have given him something- he doesn’t deserve anything, he just killed his only friend.

Sun stopped talking for about a week, leaving Moon as his only company as Sun hid in their room.

Ruin isn’t sure how much longer he can keep his emotionless mask from breaking. He could handle the aftermath of the collapsing dimensions, he couldn’t handle Solar’s death. It doesn’t help that when Sun started talking again they kept asking if what they did was the right thing.

When Solar comes back is when Ruin has a complete mental breakdown, as well as Sun. Moon mostly just stares in utter shock and it’s one of the first times he talks on his own.

((Obviously Solars gonna get home eventually. It just takes awhile.))

Just watched the latest episode of Sun's therapy and I'm so frustrated!!! I love Earth so much but she literally talked over Sun and told him how happy he seems now. Meanwhile Sun just sits there quietly and just agrees with her. And of course he didn't touch on any true problems. He diverted like he always does. Honestly if they're actually trying to make Sun be happy now they're doing a terrible job so I truly hope they're instead building up to something. The fact that Sun actually brought back up the whole "maybe me and Moon shouldn't have split" really sealed it for me. The last time he brought that up was when his mental health was tanking, and if it's not a subtle sign that Sun is in fact not okay, then all my faith in the writers is dead lol...

Sun and Lunar are like mirror parallels but the show and the fans don't seem to get this, and it drives me crazy! They both had controlling brothers who belittled them and hit them. But when Moon did it to Sun it was played as a joke or was excused by other characters. Meanwhile when Lunar got hit, Monty and Moon both were there to comfort him and treated it very seriously. I remember being so shocked that these two, who abused Sun for years, had suddenly done a 180 for Lunar. And the hypocrisy never even got addressed! Lunar said something one time to Moon about how he hit Sun, but it got brushed off and then never mentioned ever again.

Lunar took over Moon and forced him into his head, and even hurt him on purpose. He did these things knowingly, whereas Sun never had a choice. And yet Moon tortured Sun for years but never once was mean to Lunar. It just felt so weird and I waited for weeks and months waiting for it to be brought up, but it never was. It's no wonder Sun always seemed a bit disconnected from Lunar. Heck, he never even got asked if he wanted him to be a brother, Moon just decided and told Sun. Like always, Sun never got a say in anything. And I am still so mad that NONE OF IT ever got pointed out! Ever!

And then when Sun wanted to kill Eclipse, Lunar insulted Sun by saying he was just like his abuser. Yes, HIS abuser because Eclipse abused Sun too, but everyone forgets that. And Lunar said he was just like him, and then went and implied that he knew Moon better than Sun. Because he lived in Moon's head. Well Sun did too, for longer! But Lunar basically said he knows Moon better?! I was so mad at Lunar in that episode, and it obviously triggered Sun. And all he did was tell Lunar to shut up. And then he got crucified by the fans over it. I remember how much people hated Sun, it made me so mad. And even to this day Sun carries that guilt, when he shouldn't! He didn't even make Lunar run off, Eclipse did. But does Lunar ever tell Sun that? Nope! Just lets Sun apologize to him multiple times when he comes back, and then has the audacity to say he wasn't sure if he could forgive Sun yet!!!! AHHH!!

And let's not even mention how when Sun gets an attitude, or is angry or even just mean, then he's a bitch and annoying and whiny. But when Lunar does he's sassy and a poor baby who deserves to get angry or violent. When Sun is withdrawn from everyone he's a huge jerk but when Lunar is withdrawn then it's excused because he's suffering. Basically Lunar and Sun are so much alike and yet time after time Lunar is favored by the characters and the fans, and Sun is just annoying or wrong, no matter what.

I could write so much more and I might in the future, but for now I'll stop my complaining. I just get so mad seeing all this "Lunar was right to kill Eclipse!" talk when this time last year people were calling Sun irredeemable and a villain for trying to do the same thing. Heck, even during his breakdown back then everyone was busy having sympathy for Lunar and Moon, and just calling Sun crazy. It drove me absolutely crazy then and it is now because we're seeing the same thing happening only this time because it's Lunar, he's a poor justified abuse survivor. But when it was Sun he was crazy and evil. And the worst part is the show CONTINUES to miss this fact! That Sun and Lunar are parallels! They just keep missing it or maybe they're doing it on purpose??? I want to scream!!!
