wriothesley would get you a portable weapon. most certainly a dagger, and he's not beyond handing you a gun if he deems it necessary. he even teaches you how to handle them, in the most brutal of training sessions that leave your entire body in a fulfill sort of agony. the dagger is an intricate design, and is as deadly as it is beautiful with the thinness of its blade. the day you manage to successfully land a successful swipe of it across is cheek quite a rollercoaster, because one minute you're over the moon that you managed to land one on THE duke and the next, you're in hysterics since the cut was a little too deep. sigewinne gave both of you an earful later, but the proud little smile on his face after it all told you that he really didn't mind. neither the deep gash or sigewinne's lecture, as long as everything was by you and with you, he'd be more than okay.

you and neuvilette as chise and elias from the ancient magus' bride. in him, there was an inmate sort of a curiosity to understand the fabric of a human. emotions, impluses, reason and the like... perhaps he'd understand himself better if he understood the world of humankind. and when he took you in as his apprentice (read: bride), the mortal throes that'd dulled your eyes seemed quite... familiar, in a sense. he wished to one day bear witness to the shine returning to your eyes, and the funny thing was... he didn't realise when exactly it came back. years later, it was a quite evening by the fireplace with the two of you. you seemed to be enjoying a cup of hot chocolate while reading through the old tome he'd asked you to. and when you turned to him, gaze straight and open, pointing at a passage that didn't quite make sense, did he notice that you were now a remarkably different person than you were when he met you. and the warm swoop in stomach when you sat yourself beside him on the sofa, cupping his cheek with your hand and asking softly upon his lack of response, opened up a whole new universe of human complexities. ones that he was far too eager to known more of.
