Haikyuu!! Fandom Rant

1)Intro Tbh Haikyuu!! IS one of my favorite animes, but it gets kinda annoying when you go to practice and your ENTIRE team compares everything to haikyuu, or when ppl compare anything volleyball related to volleyball, I do love the story characters and all that 2)But lets talk about headcanons/fanon characters now. Like for example I will be using the 'Stoner Suna' headcanon for example, the only reason ppl said this was because his eyes are squinty-this is incredibly racist- ntm he's a minor and if he got caught doing weed or sumn he would most likely get kicked off of the team or something worse. And the 'Kuroo is a Sex God' thing that happend? I don't exactly know where this originated but it did happen,SAME THING HES A MINOR and the 'UwU Innocent Tangerine Boi' thing LIKE???? I think you know where i'm going with this, HE IS IN HIGHSCHOOL HE"S GONNA KNOW WHAT SEX MEANS???? and the whole ‘Sugamama’ thing- HE IS A MINOR TOO and even if, he still would be really stressed out from responsibility. This is all I’m gonna say on the subject. 3)Toxic Ships For some reason the community has to make ships so toxic for no reason?(example ship; TsukkiYama) I myself am a huge TsukkiYama shipper, but the way the fandom portrays their relationship is horrible, they act like as if Tsukishima is gonna always tell Yamaguchi to shut up/ignore him. 4)Angst Videos I will be using Atsumu for this, people make it seem like his team hates him? Like his whole thing was that he was accepted by his team, like sure they may tease him sometimes but that doesn’t mean they hate him. 5)Forgetting Characters I’m not talking about Ennoshita, Kinoshita, and Narita like I get there are a lot of haikyuu characters, but how do you forget an entire team?? (Tsubakihara) the ‘Forgotten Trio’ are so remembered because the are forgotten but when y’all forget whole as teams- 6)Body shaming I will be using the iconic Oikawa for this I bet you know what i’m talking about too, AKA Flattykawa jokes 7)Overused Jokes This one isn’t as bad as the others but it’s still annoying i’m talking about the Barry B. Benson jokes, the Sangwoo jokes, the Deadchi jokes, the Flattykawa jokes, and the Doorkawa jokes. Like we get it you like to stereotype characters off of moments that only happen once. 8)Oversexualizing Characters I’m gonna be talking about the haikyuu texting videos for this. Like some of y’all be making straight up sexting videos at this point and idc if it’s an older AU it’s still fucking weird. 9)End Please tell me if I missed anything I should talked about here, ALSO i’m not saying the entire haikyuu fandom is like this it’s just a portion of it.
