“Ah, Peony. He was always a good sort. I wonder what he’s doing, after having stepped down from gym leadership.”

2) What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

"One would think it was the day I became chairman of the Galar league, but on the contrary, it was long before then. I'd date it back to the first test I ever failed, if I were to be honest. I thought I had understood the unit well enough to pass with flying colors, but then I drew a blank when it came time to take it. It taught me that, even if I thought I knew what I was doing, I could have forgotten to account for something vital."

3) Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?

"There are plenty of ways to change my mind on an issue, but bribery is not one of them. What point can you make with bribery? That you have more money than me? I'd rather settle things one of two ways, through a battle, or through a thought out discussion."

4) Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?

“...I can usually handle things on my own, though I suppose I’m not against turning to Oleana for assistance. She can keep a level head far better than I can, most days.”

taken from beth kinderman and nikki walker’s the 100 most important things to know about your character. a good list to help develop a character’s background, personality, and general aspects.

PART 1: THE BASICS

What is your full name?

Where and when were you born?

Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?

Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.

What is your occupation?

Specifically, was thinking pre-XY that Rose had ties with Lysandre Labs and probably had frequent contact with Malva? Maybe even considered her a friend until he found out about both of their involvements with Flare, but with your Malva specifically, I can see them becoming friends again.

Actually, I think they stopped using the holo casters because they were spying on everyone. God knows what would happen if that trove of information still exists and someone gets a hold of it.

“I have, yes.” He began. “The leaders of Devon Corporation do run a rather interesting business, though it’s been quite a while since we’ve last spoken. I wonder how they’re doing these days. As for Lysandre...”

He sighed.

“It’s a shame to see how quickly people stopped using his products. I can understand why, using a device invented by a man who attempted mass genocide is rather shady business, but... it was an interesting product for it’s time, and frankly, I’m disappointed we’ve grown dependent on Rotom Phones.”
