“Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. You’re doing just fine.”

This is not a book review. This is a Thanksgiving post. Keep your expectations at peace. First and foremost, to the author @juliettecrossauthor for bringing this world into fiction, for choosing my least favorite bollywood actor (but don't admit it publicly for safety reasons) and actually making Devraj worth 346 pages. Secondly, @_bookish_affair_ for constantly reminding me what a good book this is and staying on DM while I was screeching and screaming overwhelmed. Thirdly to the Man of the book himself. Mr. Devraj Kumar, for reminding me even though I am slowly turning into a wolf-girl, I'll forever be on my knees for the vampires, my darling divine creature. My days are better necessarily because you live inside my head. Fourthly, after reading this book, I've learned the pronunciation of 'swoon induce seduction' it sounds like determined Devraj Kumar in stereotypical Indian accent. So, thank you for leaving me hotter than the summer in my hometown alone. I am so exasperated, that I am high on euphoria. Fifthly, it is more of a wish really, to find and enjoy a gardener character. Isadora delivered all the greenhouse greatness and then some more, with love and kind eyes, adorably. And finally, the Savoi sisters has it right. Living unapologetically, being their best versions by the day, witching around at night. Helping people and hosting special dinners. Bending rules, keeping harmony with the world, falling in love bravely and existing in epic romances. . . Enough about me, let's talk about you. Who is your favorite Savoi lover? What is your favorite paranormal romance? What is your favorite Savoi sister? . . #devrajkumar #stayaspell #juliettecross #paranormalromance #paranormalromancebooks #vampireromance #smuttyromance #witchromance #indianbookstagrammer #bookrecommendations #bookloversofinstagram #bookreview #bookboyfriend #highlyrecommended #bookishflatlay #ireadromance #iloveparanormalromance #romancebookstagram #romancebookaddict #ereader #ebookworm #kindleromance (at India) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci6r4VnruK2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Count with me. Let's play. Firstly, never have I ever read a book from this author and of course I regret some of my past choices on books. I wish I had picked up her books faster. Secondly, never have I ever read a witchy book that is so highly entertaining and spicy, and of course I have devoured it like the last portion of dessert in the refrigerator. It has everything supernatural creatures, magic, nasty hexs and intriguing third act. Thirdly, never I have ever loved any characters alter-ego more than the character, but Alpha has totally growled his way in and made permanent position. Wolfs are a thing, and I might have changed my team for him. Maybe. Fourthly, never have I ever screamed 'kiss already' this much, as I did, reading the first twenty chapters of this book, too much cute chemistry and slow angsty foreplay, but i needed more. But my heart, when it finally happened, I screamed a bit more, yes, it was that good! Fifthly, never have I ever enjoyed the presence of a comic-lover character, but Evie did it, the way she is so proudly herself, kind of makes the reader feel good about themselves unapologetically. Here is my all the five reasons for the 4.5 stars for this book. The only thing that chipped the final star is the 'big reveal', I kind of saw that from a kilometer away. Enough about me, let's talk about you. Have you raved enough about this series? What is your favorite paranormal series? How is your reading going so far this year? #stayaspell #alphaholic #werewolfromance #juliettecross #paranormalromance #currentlyreading #fivestarread #indianbookstagram #indianbookstagrammer #indianbookblogger #indianbookreviewer #romancebookstagram #romancebooksofinstagram #romancebookaddict #romanceaddict #ebookstagram #ebookreader #smuttybooks #smuttybooklover #kindleromance #mustreadbooks #wolfgonewild (at India) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch_5wHErutQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

It had it all. In the right proportion. Like the almost perfect sentence. Almost satisfactory day. But. There is always that but, that ruins it all, that simply. Puts a sour test in the mouth. No amount of Harry Styles music can fix it. That is the case with this book. I liked it. I was infatuated with it. But like all great crushes, I was disappointed when I came down from the high. It had it all. The ruthless self-serving alfa mafia man, who doesn't understand the word 'invalid'. He takes what he liked, doesn't give a damn about the aftermath. He is fiercely loyal, respectful to a degree, you would want to tear his tailored suit into shreds with your mouth. Delivers mad amount of tension, banter, and hottest angst. Nicolas Russo is everything, I read dark mafia romances for and then delivers the third orgasm, in one go. But. Here is the But. The mafia princess aka Elina 'the sweet' Abelli. What is the point of her character or the her characteristics? What was the point of her being a part of this story? What is her contribution or need or development in? The correct answer is nothing. Her presence is similar to the air inside Lay's chips, disappointing and annoying. The whole time I was reading this book, I wanted to do is, slip inside, and drag her out by the hair and leave her outside the series. All she did throughout the whole story is lie unnecessarily, created drama unnecessarily, kept useless secrets, you have guessed, UNNECESSARILY. Is it too much to ask to be strong, level headed and honest? Apparently for her, YES, I think so! Even though, she was born and brought up in this world, she is so very much stupid, that left me with migraine for a week. Enough about me, let's talk about you. What are you currently reading? Who is your book boyfriend of the month? What do you do when you find annoying MCs? #thesweetestoblivion #daniellelori #mafiaromance #alphaholic #bookflatlay #bookbloggersofinstagram #bingeworthy #madeseries #nicolasrusso #bookboyfriend #ebookstagram #ebookreader #smutbooks #angstyromance #ebooklover #kindleromance #indianbookstagram #indianbookstagrammer #indianbookblogger #bookreviewersofinstagram #bookrecommendations (at India) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch73cYjrOGR/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐘 ; a collection of various lyrics from lana del rey's every album . change the pronouns if needed .
why wait for the best when i could have you ?
kiss me hard before you go .
i've come to tell you that she's evil .
will you still love me when i got nothing but my aching soul ?
the other woman will never have his love to keep .
young love don't always last forever .
i guess that no one ever really made me feel that much higher .
loving you was really hard .
crying tears of gold , like lemonade .
your soul is haunting me and telling me that everything is fine .
and there's no remedy for memory , your face is like a melody .
sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough , I don't know why .
can you make it feel like home if I tell you you're mine ?
i told you that no matter what you did i'd be by your side .
i will love you 'til the end of time .
been tryin' hard not to get into trouble , but i've got a war in my mind .
all my dreams and all the lights mean nothin' without you .
i'm tired of feeling like i'm fucking crazy .
heaven is a place on earth with you .
oh god , miss you on my lips .
you're beautiful and i'm insane .
but if you hold me without hurting me .
do you want me or do you not ?
looking into his eyes , i think he's already hurt .
dream a little dream of me .
we're the captains of our own souls .
while you're taking what's mine , with the things that you're doing .
let me love you like a woman .
it's hard to be lonely , but it's the right thing .
not all those who wander are lost .

I have enjoyed first half of the book, but equally disliked the final half of the book. I enjoyed Poppy as a strong female lead, but not as a wife of the Duke. She is selfish and un-considerate of other people. And the Duke in question, even though I'm sympathetic towards his tortured soul, I really don't see the point of keeping the secret, when he could have tried to have the conversation. Here lies the main issue of this book, for me, they just think stupid and act stupid, they don't communicate or convey their emotions. It had everything, a strong lead character, a Duke with commitment issues and secrets, marriage of convenience, undeniable connection, tons of smut - but it wasn't enough. It didn't matter and I didn't care for anything that happened with any of them. The story: Having overcome financial ruin and redeemed his family name to become the most legendary investor in London, the Duke of Westmead needs to secure his holdings by producing an heir. Which means he must find a wife who won’t discover his secret craving to spend his nights on his knees—or make demands on his long scarred-over heart. Poppy Cavendish is not that type of woman. An ambitious self-taught botanist designing the garden ballroom in which Westmead plans to woo a bride, Poppy has struggled against convention all her life to secure her hard-won independence. She wants the capital to expand her exotic nursery business—not a husband. But there is something so compelling about Westmead, with his starchy bearing and impossibly kind eyes—that when an accidental scandal makes marriage to the duke the only means to save her nursery, Poppy worries she wants more than the title he is offering. The arrangement is meant to be just business. A greenhouse for an heir. But Poppy yearns to unravel her husband’s secrets—and to tempt the duke to risk his heart. Enough about me, let's talk about you? What leads to book slump? What Historical Romance you didn't like? Most of my HR love affairs are written by this author. But like each community, there are members, relations we would banish, this book is one of those. This feels like the worst kind of betrayal. This reminds me of worst kind of disappointment. Where should I start? Where does it end? I don't have any proper answer for that. According to the first Hathaway book, it was supposed to be filled with angst, longing and sweet heartaches. But what I found is simply sad. I loved the build up of Kev and Win in that book and even though I have a huge soft spot for Cam but I was so eager to get to know Kev. But I just didn't care about him, his history, family or his torn heart or brooding self. He is not enough and after everything that happened to Win, she deserved so so so much more than what she settled for. For the first time, this is a Kleypas book that made me feel nothing. I was half engaged with the plot and just grieving for the lose of charms. Enough about me, let's talk about you. What is your least favorite book from the favorite author? What are you currently reading? I absolutely love this show. I binged it in the last few days. I have a new favorite TV boyfriend. This is by far the best thing that I've stumbled upon this year. I was at edge with each passing sequence, from the very first scene to the season 3 ending, waiting to see what happens next, back to back. I am so glad I found out about the show now instead of before, I don't think I could have waited this long. It rarely happens, that I love each and every character present on screen, anticipating what they will do, say or choose. With each season, there were new characters along with the grown version of the older ones and the plot was flowing flawlessly. And the chemistry between the characters and the small town, it is just simple and more. It is just simply more. Ann with an E is the Netflix adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, following Anne, the orphan who finally gets a chance to better life. But, life in its own way, to shape out a better version of her, makes her time miserable, tripping and twisting situations, declaring harsh sentences. Except this is Anne, the bright, vibrant, colorful, imaginative, strong willed, wildflower Anne. She brings joy, creativity, art, new ideas and acceptance. It has curved a special place in my heart, I'll savor it from time to time. It taught me so many lessons about life, love, hopes and family. I am grateful for the show. I am mesmerized by the masterpiece of a series. I am happy and sad and a little stronger. Enough about me, let's talk about you. Do you enjoy period dramas? What are your thoughts on the show? What are you watching lately? #annwithane #netflixindia #romanceaddict #perioddrama #oppositeattracts #bookboyfriend #gabriellacharlton #myphotography #mythoughts #myreview #mostrecommended #showrecommendation #bingewatching #bingeworthy #bingewatchingnetflix #netflixseries (at Netflix India) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce7wY5Ro6-k/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

They say, when it hits for the first time, it comes more like a shock, a surprise, a state of disbelieve, it leaves more confusion. But the pain, oh the excruciating, heart stopping pain. By the time, second hit comes around, you're prepared, you did homework, know all there is to know, anticipating to give it all, back. But the pain, oh the excruciating, heart stopping pain. Around the time for third one, you've experience, knowledge, learned from the past, and the notion that, this pain, oh the excruciating, heart stopping pain is not going anywhere, it is here to stay. Yes, it was there, it is here. It hurt more than I could ever be ready for, each sentence, each turn, each plot twist, each realization - it hurt bad, it hurt good. It felt like the transition between two heartbeats, equally proportionate chance of breathing again or kissing oblivion. This is the third installment of Green Creek series. It is the insight of two beloved characters, one I got to know from the beginning, another recently; one I have complicated relationship with, another I didn't knew, I had feelings for. This book starts off disoriented, because he is, everything feels real, yet not quite realistic, it is absolute illusion, what to believe, which clue to chase! Is that was even a trail? But it gets less confusing, makes sense more, feels like home soon. But it is hard to read, heart crushing to think about. But this is Bennett pack, this is blue and green intertwined, till they blend and create a beautiful melody. Can't you see, I'm trying to tell you all of my thoughts, views, experiences about this small town in the middle of nowhere; it has curved a place inside my soul, it is familiar, comforting, I know the streets, the shops, people and the magnificent adventure it takes. Yet, sadly I can't, you must read the first two books in order to understand my ordeal; but if you have read all three so far, tonight I'll be howling to the moon, bearing my heart, would you hear me dear? Enough about me, let's talk about you? What are you currently reading? What bookish world enchanted you recently? What book gave you the worst hangover? #greencreekseries #tjklune #mmromance https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce2oqrJI3au/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I have done this once again. I have read a book that broke me into million pieces. I have endured each stabbing phrase silently. I have been waiting for the right time, the right words to arrive, so that I can say what I am here to say. I have never been much of a reviewer, never learned the art of it. But I have learned so much, went through so much, thought so much, hoped so much, blamed so much. Yet, cannot weave one single sentence. Reading this book felt like touching time. Even though once it's gone, no matter what I can do, I cannot bring it back. But I'm contained, because this time was well spend. I have no regrets. Just a hope. Hope, I can be brave enough, strong enough to do justice to this book. But I can not. I might not. I'm angry. I'm so angry at the world, at fate, at each turn the novel took, at the beginning, middle and end. I am ragged. Why does bad things happen to good people? Why don't they listen to me when I am screaming at the book? Why can't all the good I've ever done cannot be theirs? Why does this or that or it Why does Why Why Why Enough about me, let's talk about you. What book makes you emotional? What is your favorite Amy Harmon book? Wolf or Witch? Witches or Wolves? I have been asking this question for a long time. The right answer is, there is no choosing sides. So, go ahead, destroy me. Take all my sunshine and destroy me in the dark. I'm calling out the ravens. This is so good and special and regretfully beautiful. So much exhaustingly emotional. And I had it all, all over again without hesitation, in the second installment of Green Creek series. Yet, it wasn't enough. It is heartbreak, it is absolute agony written in addictive words. It is utterly satisfying. This is the story of Mark and Gordo. It is a friends to brutal heartbreak to friends to lovers to ultimately mates. It is the couple I was most exited about while reading Wolfsong and also during Ravensong. Gordo and Mark were happy but tragedy occurs and they are torn apart. It has been years, yet time didn't move a single second. After the events of Wolfsong, they are forced to work with each other, for each other to save their loved ones at present and the love that was lost. There, that is all I can say without breaking into 100 pages. Reading this book felt like listening to the rain fall, like eating chai and pakora in the lazy Sunday afternoon. Reading this book was soothing yet haunting. It is safe, lovely and unforgettable. I wish I had read this book sooner. I wish I had waited a while longer. I wish I held on to it for a bit more. I wish I could go back and feel it all the scattered emotions. I wish I find a series like this once more in my life. Just one more time, for the sake of angst and heartaches. Just once. Enough about me, let's talk about you. Wolf or Witch? Series or Standalone? Choice, is a simple word holding a million possibilities ferociously. Choice, is the single word, I would use to describe this book. Choice is a complex decision, all of the characters had to make, to take a side and face the inevitable. Choice, is the madness, that brought forward this massive disaster in the first place. Choice to live, to love, to fight, to concur, to acknowledge, to understand, to step further, to claim. This is what I think time asks life too. To choose. And based on every single choices, dreams and reality blends. Make the right choice at the precise moment. Choose. I would like you to make an independent choice too. To pick up this book series if you are still pondering. To put aside the hype, fan arts, quotes and aesthetics and share your personal thoughts, I swear no one will be judging. I can choose to tell you all things I've told you a million more times and I know it still won't be enough to convey my attachment with these characters, the way they behaved and the way I would like to meddle and make my own place in the journey, that world and bind my very self with them. Enough about me, let's talk about you. What is favorite unpopular fae romance? What is the one thing you'd like to change in the plot? What? I don't understand? What am I supposed to do? Put up few words in the review sections and crown them with few stars? That's it? Am I supposed to 'leave it at that'? Just like that, that? Not howl at the moon? Braid my hair all the time? Scout the parameters in the middle of the night? Sniff the air for magic? Grasp for the bond? Scream my lungs up? Feel like the alpha? Dive down fiction and never come back? Live in that cabin up the hill? Plant the garden? Did you not expect me to go moon-mad? What am I supposed to do then? Live a mundane life? Doctors appointment and exercise? Pay bills and party with a fake smile? Not upgrade the requirement list? Don't be ridiculous! Enough about me, let's talk about you? Did you read this book?
