I'm Meri, and I like to do art and stuff. The Devil May Cry series is my jam. This blog will feature 18+ content, so be warned. I spend my days drawing Dante getting dicked down, and that's that.

The Devil May Cry 5 character designs have neat details. For example...

Vergil wears a structured overcoat that needs to be buttoned up in order to close it (since there's no zipper, it takes forever to do so, but the closure holds really well—fitting for a man who prefers order and control). His coat is very long (and warm due to the lining), covering a lot of skin compared to V's attire. It features two slits in the back, ensuring that the garmet doesn't hinder his movements.

Dante's leather coat only has a two-way zipper; therefore, it can be quickly put on, opened or closed, and adjusted on a whim. The only downside is that even expensive zippers break easily; they're tricky to fix as well. (That said, you can't tell if the zipper is broken with a glance; it may look functional even though it's been damaged beyond the point of return, which sounds oddly fitting for Dante.)

Nero's jacket is a combination of the two; there's the finicky elements (clasps, buttons) and the zipper for ease. Bonus points for the fact that Nero's jacket has leather details (like Dante's coat) and has an interior lining that is a different color from the main part of the jacket (like Vergil's overcoat). However, it also features a hood, unlike the other two. (... maybe the kid who grew up as an outcast from his peers due to his looks still finds comfort in hiding his face, now as a man.)
