So my first pregnancy was amazing and easy. No morning sickness and only a little bit of discomfort. I went a week past my due date and had to be induced. My second pregnancy was very different. I had morning sickness (alllll day every single day) for the first 3 months. I carried her very low so it constantly felt like my pelvic bone was going to snap in half. So I was very uncomfortable basically from the time I started showing. She was born with a full head of long hair so my heart burn was so insane 😩 With this pregnancy I went a week past my due date again BUT I actually went into labor the day before I was to be induced. Me being the dumbass I am was totally in denial of me being in labor even though I had contractions every 5-7 minutes. It started very early in the morning and I went about my day driving around and finishing up my Christmas shopping at Walmart and Target (and yes i was contracting all through the stores 🤣) My husband ended up taking me to the hospital around 8pm and I was in fact in labor lmao. I was in labor with her for 26hrs and again had an amazing epidural and didn’t feel a thing from that point on. I pushed for 5 minutes and she was out! My healing was super easy no pain at all.

Side note- This pregnancy was very difficult emotionally due to the fact that my husband and I had a house fire at the end of July. It was a kitchen fire that started when we weren’t home. We ended up losing EVERYTHING from the smoke and soot damage. Im very thankful to my parents for letting us stay with them during this difficult time. We were misplaced for 4 months. We have insurance but it only covered a month in the hotel. So being 5 months pregnant, losing everything we’ve ever owned, living in a hotel (with a 2 year old), and crashing on my parents couch for 3 months is not easy to say the least. But we are very thankful that we were all safe, that we got home a week before thanksgiving and was able to host, our house is completely renovated from top to bottom, and our new baby girl is here. We are so very happy now and enjoying every minute with our babies.

So that’s a little bit of the back story on why I was MIA for a while. BUT I am back baby!!!🥰
