In need of Queer Advice/Help/Support 🖤
Hey everyone who follows this blog :)
I’ve gone by many names over the years but I suppose you can call me Judas for now
The pronouns that honor me are he and him
I know that the majority of people who follow this blog identify with queer labels, especially “contradictory” labels- or just labels that make people mad lol
For a long time, I’ve been one of those people, and also supported people who use labels to honor themselves rather than trying to fit into a rigid box.
So I thought, who better to ask for advice when I’m feeling lost in my queerness?
The coining community/ labeling community/flag community, etc. Have always been a tremendous help in my journey to better understand myself, my gender, my attraction, etc.
I really wish I could talk to a queer therapist for hours and hours about how I’m feeling, but that’s just not accessible to me right now.
If there are any queers out there who feel their experience with queerness and labels has been very diverse and unique (and perhaps, maybe you’ve even been through some hardships, or guilt, or shame in regards to the labels you use, or the attraction you feel) would you feel comfortable reaching out to me?
Things I’ve been struggling with recently include: sexual attraction, romantic, attraction, platonic, attraction, gender identity, sex identity(?), and how all of those things relate to misogyny
I know that I learned some harmful ideas from both trans men (mostly) and women about gender growing up and of course, just living in the society that I do, I know I’ve internalized the gender hierarchy/system in someway and a I’m doing my best to unlearn that now as an adult.
Thank you for reading, I’d love to speak to more queer people about this, I don’t have many diverse queer people in my life so I hope the online community can be a safe place for me. I’d also love to make more queer friends in general.
- Judas (he/him) 🌟🖤

Gendersatyret
This gender is very similar to both Gendersatyr and Genderfaunet. This gender describes the experience of being fluid between all genders except binary woman, while specifically including xenogenders. It is a more specific version of Genderfaunet and includes feminine genders, unlike Gendersatyr which does not. Gendersatyret is a fluid, non-woman, xenic gender in nature but does not specify any gender expression, meaning anyone of any expressions can use it. Coiner and flag maker currently unknown, if you know who made this please let me know so I can give credit!

Gendersatyr
This gender is a continuation of the labels under the Genderfluid umbrella, meaning those who use it have a changing gender or their interpretation of their gender changes over time. Gendersatyr describes an experience in which one's gender can fluid between male, masculine aligned, neutral/other genders, while specifically including xenogenders. This gender excludes feminine or woman genders. For example I use gendersatyr to specify that I am fluid between masculine and xenic genders. It is the equivalent of Genderfaun that is exclusively for those who experience xenogenders or are xenic. This gender is masculine and xenic in nature, but those who use it can have any gender expression. Coiner and flag creator are unknown so let me know if you know who I can credit!

The 2021 Gender Census is now open!
[ Link to survey ]
The eighth annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 10th March 2021.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.
If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, retweet this tweet, boost this Mastodon post, check out this post on Reddit, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks like Facebook. Every share is extremely helpful - it’s what helped us get 24,000 responses last year.
Survey URL: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/gendercensus2021/
The survey is open to anyone anywhere who speaks English and feels that the gender binary doesn’t fully describe their experience of themselves and their gender(s) or lack thereof.
Thank you so much!

Paraboy
This term is very similar to Magiboy, and part of the next series i'm doing which is genders that have specific terms for those close to being a boy. These all end in -boy to depict that. Paraboy has two meanings. 1. a term that derives from Paragender, which means feeling very near one gender, but partially identifying as something else, which keeps you from feeling fully that gender. A paraboy feels very close to a boy, but also has something else they identify with that makes them not quite a boy. This is similar to magiboy as it is mostly identifying as male and slightly something else, however, paraboy is more specific. The other gender that you can experience while being paraboy is commonly a nonbinary gender, however, it can be anything. and 2. A gender identity that is close to, but not exactly, a boy. Those who identify as a paraboy have a mostly masculine gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders) The pride flag comes from a side blog known as pridearchive, and the term is known to be coined by user queerspike on tumblr, but no such tumblr user exists today.

Genderfrith (-et, -er, -en)
This (I believe) is the last of the Genderf- terms (under the genderfluid umbrella) that includes masculine genders. Genderfrith is describes as fluid gender that never encompasses genders that are completely removed from masculinity or femininity. This means that all the genders a genderfrith person experiences are either masculine or feminine, but never unaligned, neutral, or agender. If you want to specify that your gender is never fully woman, you can add -et to the end to make Genderfrithet. If you want to specify that you never experience being fully a man, you can add -er, making Genderfrither. Lastly, if you want to specify that you never experience being fully a man or a woman, you can add -en to the word, making Genderfrithen your term. Genderfrith and it's flag were coined by @kalliepride , unsure who specifically coined the extra endings. The extra ending flags were made by @uncommongenders ! The flags are very similar to eachother so notice they are in order: Genderfrith, Genderfrithet, Genderfrither, Genderfrithen.

Genderfaer
This gender falls under the genderfluid umbrella as well, and can only be used by those who percieve their gender or labels to change. Genderfaer is described as being fluid between all genders except man. It is the counterpart to Genderfaunet (seen below) While genderfaer does not include man, it does include any masculine genders (hence its spot on my list), as well as agenders, unaligned genders, feminine genders, nonbinary genders, xenogenders, etc. Those who identify as Genderfaer have a fluid non-man gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders). The term and the flag were made by @pantasticenby !

Genderfaunet
This term is also under the genderfluid label, so only those who percieve their gender to be changing or their labels change can use. Genderfaunet is very similar to genderfaun (see below) and is described as being fluid between all genders except woman. The difference between the two is that genderfaun does not include feminine or partially woman genders, while genderfaunet does. Both, however, do not include woman. Those who identify as Genderfaunet have a fluid non-woman gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders). The term and the flag were made by @pantasticenby !

Genderfaun
This term is under the genderfluid label, meaning only someone who has a fluid gender (or fluid perception of their gender) can use this term. Genderfaun is described as being fluid between all genders except feminine genders or woman. This means you can be fluid between any genders on this account or any neutral, unaligned, agenders, xenogenders, etc. as long as the gender isn't feminine. (Feminine in this case does not refer to gender expression, rather gender identity. A feminine gender is one that is similar to or resembles womanhood, like demigirl for example.) Those who identify as Genderfaun have a fluid non-feminine gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders). The term was coined by @shadowofthedude on tumblr and DeviantArt and the flag was made anonymously!

Demi-Galaxian/Constellian
This is (as far as i know) the last masculine/male aligned gender alignment in the Galactian System, but go check out the rest of them for non-masculine related alignments! Demi-Galaxian, or Constellian is defined as identifying partially as Galaxian (see previous post). Someone who is Constellian may identify with a demigender, and may identify as something else partially. This is a broad nonbinary term that can be used to describe more specific terms, but can also be a stand alone term. This term may mean that the user experiences partial masculinity, femininity, and neutrality at the same time, or is fluid between them. Those who identify as Constellian have a partially masculine, feminine, and neutral gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders). The term was coined by @stellunarian and the flag was made by @temp-nb-blog !
