Following the team into the gymnasium I watched as Shoyo looked at the gym as if he was a kid in A toy store. This was definitely a huge gym...damn rich kids. Suddenly, I felt a little uneasy and I wasn't the one playing. Guess it gave me flashbacks. "Yuu, don't you feel nervous?"

"No way! I'm so excited!"

"hold you're excitement Nishinoya. We know nothing about Nekoma's team and strategies so we are going in blind. Misaki, why don't you sit with us?" Coah Ukai stated.

"Sure."

So I sat with kioyoko and watched the game.

My glance went to the girl in the Nekoma team. The way she looked at Number 1 seemed starstruck. Yet, I felt the need to go talk to her. "Hey."

She looked at me and smiled, "Hi. You must be here for Karasuno. Your number 9 and 10 are amazing."

I turned around to watch them before their very surprising Quick Attack, letting a chuckle escape my lips and smiled as I put my hands on my hips. "Ah Kage and Sunshine, my favorite first-years.Their strongest weapons. " The more I looked at them the more impressed I was. The game was really intriguing. No one was letting up. "Firs-years? Wow impressive."

"Mmhm...YEAH SUNSHINE AND KAGE!" I couldn't help but cheer for those knuckleheads. Then I watched Yuu dig a receive. "YEAAAH! NICE RECIEVE!" Yuu smiled and shouted, even Tanaka got involved. Those idiots..."Wow, you know your stuff."

"H-huh? Oh yeah, I play volleyball too."

"I bet --"

"Hey, I never got your name. I'm Misaki Nishijima. You can call me Misa."

"Nice to meet you Misa, Niko Nakamura...are you the manager?"

I laughed so hard. "No, I'm here to support my friends. These knuckleheads are my friends. I love them. And I promised that I would be here for them."

"Aww, how cute. So, " she turned away for a brief second and looked at the Nekoma's rooster captain, "are you here to support someone extra special?"

I blushed looking at Koushi, despite the bet I wanted to tell my feelings after the game...maybe when he got back to Miyagi. I didn't want Yuu to get into my head, and I wanted to tell him my true feelings, not my pressured feelings because of Yuu. "N-not exactly, He isn't aware of my feeling for him yet..."

"is it the Libero? He seems to be really happy and excited when you talk to him? Kinda short though. Kinda cute too."

"Yuu? No, he's my best friend, he's a wild card and granted I love that about him..." my gaze shifted from Yuu to Koushi and smiled at him. "How about you? You here for anybody?" She pointed to the rooster captain and somehow I felt chills. His gaze felt so intense and terrifying. The way he played was even more terrifying because it was so smooth and terrifying. It was almost as scary as watching the practice game with Seijoh...then again this was just as terrifying. The way he seeemd To connect with his team, then again Captain have this power to reach in and find ways to connect to their teams. To make them better players than they were before. I can feel the tension in the air with Daichi and the Rooster. "Kuroo Tetsurō, captain of Nekoma...and my boyfriend."

Boyfriend? Suddenly I felt like someone smacked in the face with a volleyball because everything went black...in the end I was because I didn't pay attention.

"Misa...!"

The voice echoed my name, who is it...? "MIA!" I jolted awake to see a crowd around me and Koushi looking at me with worry. "Mia are you ok?"

"yeah, I'm fine. Honestly..."

He frowned and helped me up and took me to the bench and looked at me closely to make sure I wasnt really hurt. He wouldn't let me out of his sight.

So I watched the rest of the game, and it was amazing. Karasuno lost the "official" practice match but played many more games after this.

After maybe the third game, I told Koushi I would head home since the drive back to Miyagi wold be long one. "Sure, I'll see you at the gym?"

"Y-yes, can I talk to you about something...when we get back?"

"Sure, whatever you need." He hugged me tightly and smiled. "I'll see you back and drive home safely, please."

"I will." So I left the gym and my cooler (Goodbye 20 yen🥲) and went home.
