Foreman Spike theory.

Foreman Spike is The Father of Waluigi and Wario.

this sounds weird but work with me.

In the game Wrecking Crew we’re introduced to a Rival Charater named “Spike” who apparently harm’s Mario in order to get money. He appears to possibly be in his 40′s or 50′s

why is this character of any interest? well look at him, especially the sprite.

Now compare this to Wario and Waluigi.

a bit uncanny there now is it?  (he did serve as a prototype to the two like Pauline and Peach)

Down to the “Nose”, “Stache” and “Clothes” “Gut” and “Muscles”

(Also similar colors between the two)

now lets go a little further in Waluigi’s case.

While Waluigi look’s a “Plumber”, he appears to be associated more along the line of a “Construction Worker” and a “Demolition worker”

need proof? His board in Mario Party 3 is him and his crew destroying what was “Luigi’s Board”.

and on said board you can see what looks like a trailer in his image. Which wouldn’t be out of place at a “construction site”

It’s also apparent he created the “Waluigi Pinball” Course in Mario Kart.  (Much Like Wario and Wario’s Stadium in Mario Kart 64“

One of Waluigi’s “Signature” Kart’s in Mario Kart DS is called a “Gold Mantis.”

seeing a connection? Yeah.

Also Waluigi’s signature food is a “Eggplant”, his super moves are also “eggplant themed” in Super Striker, Mario Tennis and Mario Striker’ charged.

(Akin to the running eggplant men in Wreckin’ crew.)

his signature theme in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. is called “Destruction Dance” (Sound Familiar?)

-so with all that, what could it mean?

If his is their “Father” this could put Wario and Waluigi as being “Brothers”, “Half Brothers” or possibly “Distant Cousins/bothers”. It’s never been said what Wario and Waluigi’s “connection” are or how they know each other prior to the original “Mario Tennis”..

“My Headcannon:”-

As I see it, Spike is their dad. Wario grew up to be both greedy,heavyset but a really strong guy akin to his dad but dropped “construction worker” gig for “castle raids,money stealing, treasure hunting and becoming a president of a gaming company.”

While Waluigi never blossomed out to be his own person like Wario did. He continues to work 2 jobs between “construction worker” and a “Demolition man” like Spike. which would explain his love of destruction.

Both Character’s grew up to share their “Rotten Personal” with their dad.

his absence in “Wario Ware” could be because he shares no interest in Mircogames or doesn’t know how to make games.if that’s the case then..

this would also mean in on context that “Mario is related to Spike” by “law” if Wario is Mario’s Cousin. (It’s revealed in Super Slugger’s that Wario does have a mom but tells her not to bother him “He is working on a movie after all”)
