Tip # 1: Rename your entire contact list on your phone and email accounts to Japanese rōmaji.
This is how I did mine. In the past whenever someone called, I either looked at their profile picture or the name that pops up on my phone to know who is calling. I decided to rename my contact names using the categories below.
Personalities: Shy, Idiot, generous , friendly, etc.
Relationships: Mother, brother, Wife, best friend, cycling buddy , etc.
Occupations: Supervisor, Welder, Pharmacist, school bus driver, barber , etc.
Location: Bar, School, Office , etc.
Physical Features: Strong, beautiful, etc.
So when my wife calls, I see her profile picture on the phone and the Japanese equivalent for WIFE = Tsuma. I interact with colleges (email, phone calls, status updates) with various personality types, family & friends with different occupations on a daily basis.
The first few days I struggled remembering the rōmaji so I depended entirely on the profile picture to know who was calling. In no time I was able to search my contact list by typing the rōmaji. Now I know hundreds of nouns and adjectives using the method aforementioned.
I guarantee this method works. Challenge yourself to see how much new words you can learn in one month and share your progress in the comments below.

I’m back
In a few days I will be posting new materials. Working from home has made it hard to compile new materials.
