Nobody whit a brain trust Eva wiki. Eva wiki is made up crap by fans whit forcing there stupid head canon on the characters from evangelion. Toji does have anger issues but he still way more stable compared to the rest of the Eva polits. He and kensuke are the only ones to have a stable relationship that not toxic like the other relationships in evangelion. I read the manga he still like misato, got caught looking up asuka skirt becomes friends whit the class rep who he end up marrying in shin evangelion. He straight.

Honestly, even if Bardiel hadn't possessed his Eva, Touji would never have worked as a pilot.

Why?

Look at the other pilots.

He was just way too sane and way too straight to hang with that crowd.

Eva fans are stupid and delusional idiots. They hate and fear the truth cause it goes against whatever headcanon they made up for the characters and the series.

Out off all the hot takes I've made over the years, I never thought an off the cuff joke about Touji would be the one to bring out the angry fandom stans.

I wonder if people like evangelion cause some of them have a thing for seeing characters being miserable and unhappy?

I'm super late to this but I watched Evangelion for the first time this year and I loved the show so here are the sad boys. I might redraw this to be more dramatic in the future.

Gambit a better character when he not force to hold rogue trouble hand.

I actually think Gambit and Rogue works better when they're not a couple in my opinion. When their just friends, Rogue is nicer to Gambit and Gambit is allowed to be more competent as a fighter plus comic writers are much more imaginative when the two of them are just friends.

To me it comes down to good and bad writing (and also preference.)

Kaworu is the most boring and overrated character in Eva who just a gay love interest.

Kaworu's emotional impact is so great that we often forget he performed one of the best action sequences in the whole series. All the while explaining angel lore to a very distraught Shinji.

Kaworu blocking Unit-01's progressive knife with his AT-Field shield, while revealing that's his soul and simultaneously controlling Unit-02 in battle is one of the rawest, most electrifying sequences in Evangelion.

Kaworu's character range is simply incredible. Lest we forget most of the tension was built by Kaworu himself.
