Any spiteful actions that are done because of another's ethnicity is racism.

NOTE: This does not mean all violent actions towards anyone of another ethnicity. It only means harmful actions that take root in their ethnicity.

Anyone can be racist. Anyone can be discriminated against too. It is never a one-way system.

It is hurtful to all involved. It hurts other's emotionally, it hurts the discriminators developmentally, and the worst part is that racists think that they're completely justified.

If you, yourself are racist, let me just ask you one thing:

Why?

What is so bad about having a different skin color or coming from another place? It's not bad. It's just different. Things can be different without being bad. Likewise, things can be widely accepted, but still be bad. Their skin color has no affect on your daily life, and they haven't done anything wrong simply because of their cultural background.

If someone of a certain ethnicity does something wrong, it's usually for a different reason than their own skin color. Scratch that. It's ALWAYS for a different reason.

And saying that black people, Asians, Latinos, Native Americans, take your pick can't be racist is just wrong. If anything, it's saying that only one group of people can be racist. Only they can be bad. That is also racism. You're saying that, just because someone is different, they must be bad. That is far from true.

Judge people from their personality, not their heritage.
