FEBRUARY 10 - PEQUE GALLAGA

Here's an autographed copy of Playboy Philippines' January-February 2010 issue featuring Peque Gallaga, the director behind the so-called 'Most erotic Filipino Film of all time", Scorpion Nights. In this issue, a number of writers and directors were interviewed as a part of their tribute to Philippine Cinema.

I just read Peque Gallaga's interview and I love how he answered the queries straight to the point. It is my first time to actually scan and read the contents of the local Playboy magazine. Not bad, huh? Too bad this copy is not mine.

FEBRUARY 9 - HULING KABANATA

Pagkaraan ng ilang linggong pagpapagana sa imahinasyon ng mga barakong mambabasa ng Pinoy Parazzi, dumating na nga sa sukdulan ang erotika-nobelang 'Ang Babae sa Kanto Tinio'. Aaminin ko na ang katotohanang sa kamay ko muna dumaraan ang mga obrang ito bago dalhin sa imprenta. Trabaho ko na basahin ang bawat yugto para sa maling ispeling o kung ano pa man ang dapat baguhin.

Sa totoo lang, bilib ako sa mga manunulat na nakakagawa ng ganitong klaseng obra. Hindi madali ang paganahin ang imahinasyon ng bawat mambabasa lalo na ang gisingin ang kanilang pangkatauhang senswal sa pamamagitan ng teksto at pagpapagana sa kanilang mga pantasya. Natawa ako na'ng mabasa ko ang titulo ng nasabing kwento. Sa ngayon ay kailangan na nating mamaalam sa limang babaeng nakasalamuha ng ating bida sa Kanto Tinio.

FEBRUARY 8 - LET'S DRINK TO THAT!

Let's drink to that.... NOT.

Today is supposedly Rockeoke night for the Rockeoke addicts (Judd, Hannah, Carlos, Benj etc). I think today is our rest day. Two bloggers asked me if we are going, but it seems like everyone's busy today so none of us went to Mag:net to rock the night out. Talk about stress, stress and more stress related to work and personal stuff.

Anyway, I don't really drink. On my first attempt to Rockeoke, I drank one bottle of San Mig Light. Guess what? I had rashes after. Pft. FML

FEBRUARY 7 - LATE FOR WORK

Today is a Sunday and I haz work and yes, I am late (as usual).

Some people hate the fact that they have work on Sundays. On my part, I actually love the fact that I am working on a Sunday  except when I'm going out-of-town with my friends. Today will be extra busy for me since my officemate is in Vietnam to celebrate her birthday with some friends. Today is the Hidalgo Reunion too. Too bad I won't be able to attend this year because of work. Oh well. I missed the food!

FEBRUARY 5 - GEEKYTHOUGHTS

Here's a photo of my dear friend Edward Santos, who is in town for a short vacation. We met through bloghopping two years ago and we became good friends eversince. I remember our first offline meeting which was in the first Coke Bloggers Party sometime in 2008. He is now working in Malaysia and he promised to tour me around when I'll go there for a vacation. Woot!

The photo was taken last Thursday night at Recipes. We went to Gloria Jeans after and talked about our careers till 2AM. The next day, we had dinner (again), coffee (again) and saw the movie 'Did You Hear About The Morgans?'. What a fun way to spend Thursday and Friday nights :)

FEBRUARY 4 - ADDICTED TO ACOUSTIC 2

Can't think of a perfect valentine gift for your one and only this coming day of hearts? No need to fret since Addicted to Acoustic 2 is already out in the market! The voice behind this new easy-listening cover album is no other than Princess Velasco, who received a double platinum award last year.

I saw the poster of her new album at Gateway Mall last night and I couldn't help but unleash the fangirl in me. I am happy that Ms. Princess (yes, she's my former officemate :P) is now doing well in her new career. I've always admired her beauty, talent and skills since the day i met her :P The new album includes her own version of Bad Romance, 3, Tiktok and many more! I'll get my own copy later :P

Georgina Wilson ( @ilovegeorgina ) 's back! (literally and figuratively)

Georgina Wilson is definitely the hottest model today. Just last week, her name topped in Yahoo! Philippines' Search Trends. Blame it on her guesting at GMA-7's Showbiz Central where she surprised her ex-boyfriend Richard Gutierrez. Rumors has it that she is being considered for the leading lady role in the remake of Captain Barbell (uh.ok.) Had a photo with her taken but I don't want to post it here since she's taller than I do LOL. Georgina Wilson is surely every guy's dream girl. Enjoy her sexy back!

FEBRUARY 1 - SILHOUETTE

I am really fond of silhouette shots. This one was taken in Shangri-la Mactan with a blogger friend based in Cebu.

Oh wait, it's February already! It simply means that we have finally entered the love month of 2010. Expect to see more products, movies, songs, services that are wholeheartedly dedicated to the lovers, which can make some of the single guys and ladies a bit lonesome.

JANUARY 31 - BEHIND-THE-SCENES

Saturday was pretty hectic for me and the crew of my third short film. Here's a snapshot of my crew fixing the lights and grips while Ate Lenny and Lola Ida, who is based in Australia took a peek.

I can't disclose the theme or the cast of my new short film, but all i can say is that this is my BOLDEST move ever. I am happy that my lead actress did very well in this film. The supporting cast were equally good and they did fit in their roles. I am excited to see the final output :P

JANUARY 30 - STUDENTS CAUGHT BY TEACHER

Here's a funny photo of Nyokers Jehz, Winston and Maki taken last Friday at Glorietta Cinema. We went there to watch the Gerald Anderson-Kim Chiu flick Paano na Kaya? I really find Jehz and Winston cute with their back packs. Pwede na talaga silang pagkamalang highschool students na tumakas sa klase para manood ng sine :P

And there's teacher Maki, who caught the two in a 'different' classroom LOL. I seriously missed going out with them na as a group. Too bad we were not complete that night. At least we had fun :D

JANUARY 29 - DONUT BITE INTO TEMPTATION

Though I am suffering from dry cough, my condition didn't stop me from buying Krispy Kreme's Box of Minis. Yes, they are now selling mini KK donuts for Php 229. New flavors were introduced in this set and I am currently eating my 5th piece. I used to eat one donut every visit, but now, I am dealing with multiple donuts with different flavors. yumyum :P

My love affair with Krispy Kreme continues. This is one temptation i can never, ever resist.

JANUARY 28 - I'M HOT!

This is my favorite Cafe Mocha drink that is exclusively available in Cebu Pacific flights for Php 80. Yep, this is the reason why I never got the chance to take a nap in any of my Cebu Pacific flights! :P

It's only now that I noticed the statement of the Cafe Mocha cup. Definitely, this is one hot mocha. Too bad I am currently sipping a 3-in-1 hot coffee. Boo.

JANUARY 27 - PHONE BOOTH

Here's a photo of Sinjin and Me taken at Waterfront Hotel Cebu. We were waiting for the rest of the boys to finish their thingy in the restroom LOL.

When I was still in elementary, I used to call my Manila-based friends through the Payphone (we didn't have our own telephone line until i reached Grade 4). I usually dial 109 and take collect calls to Manila hihihi. When I am bored at home, I do prank calls with the 109 operators (evilsmirk)

I rarely see payphones these days. I even wonder if someone is still interested to use them since almost every Filipino owns a cellular phone.

JANUARY 26 - LAPU-LAPU

As an elementary student who loves to read History books way back, I always dreamt of going to historical places such as the Mactan Shrine. I remember writing a short biography about Lapu-Lapu, first Filipino to fight western invasion.

The story about Lapu-Lapu's battle with Ferdinand Magellan is a classic story. I remember watching it in ABS-CBN's former educational show Bayani. After seeing some of Lapu-Lapu's pictures and statues in the past years, i now wonder if the maker of Machete made the statue-turned-human character based on Lapu-Lapu's looks and skills LOL.

Anyway, did you know that there is a story about the reason why the Filipinos present in the battle were able to beat Magellan's team? According to our friend, the filipinos threw shits on the spaniards LOL so the armors and the swords didn't really help :P

Now, do you know who killed Lapu-Lapu? Errrr... Kusinero daw T_T

JANUARY 25 - BACK IN MANILA

Goodbye Cebu, Hello Manila! Here's a photo of Brian Ong that I took outside NAIA when we arrived from Cebu this morning. Indeed, our weekend stay at Cebu is full of many firsts. Want keywords? Crown Garden Hotel, Manny Villar spotting at SM Cebu, Plantation Bay, Tito Georg, Mountain View, Mactan Shrine, Shangri-la, Roma Mia and Midnight Chowking Foodtrip.

I took more than 1K photos on the Cebu Trip alone. I am also happy because I was able to record two short films for my Project52weeks. The first one is already uploaded entitled 'Meeting Brian/Bryan' shot without permission at Waterfront Hotel Cebu and the next one will be entitled 'Batang Yagit', which is a bit emo shot in Mactan Shrine :P

I am really thankful to Doy for being our cute tour guide/driver around Cebu (Tito Georg, Mountain View, Mactan, Shang, Bridge, Ayala). I didn't really expect the weekend to be this fun! It's my 4th time in Cebu, but I was able to visit some places I haven't been to during my first three trips to Cebu.
