Blog Announcement

Hello friends. As you are probably aware, real life has made things difficult for our mods. We barely have any time to run our roleplay blogs, let alone the group, and now Mamo-chan's computer has actually bit the dust and we'll have to raise money to get him a new one.

It saddens us to do this but for now, we've come to the conclusion to close the door on Lunar Circle. It's unfair to have members in a group that has little to no activity, and while we adore and cherish all the time we've had with you guys, we think it's for the best to let you find other groups if that's what you want, or go independent. While this doesn't mean that we're dropping off the face of the earth, it just means that you are more free to pursue other things. 

This was a very hard decision for us, and I'm so, so sorry about this. There may be a time in the future when we can give the group and our amazing members the attention they deserve, but until we can we must say goodbye.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You made our group absolutely amazing and wonderful to be in, and I cannot thank you enough. My love for you guys goes beyond the stars.

What other fandoms does this group permit interaction with? I can imagine certain ones not fitting with the entire premise of the Sailor Moon theme, such as those in the Halo fandom.

Ah! This is a simple one.

We do attempt to make sure that there's plenty of in-universe interaction within the group, however it's really up to our group members as to whom they personally interact with outside of our members. Some people have close friends from a vast amount of fandoms whom they may wish to write an AU story with, and some of our members only follow or interact with fellow Sailor Moon blogs.

We do not have a group-wide policy dictating who our writers cannot interact with. If you're interested simply message the individual and see if they are open to whatever idea you may have.

I noticed that the death busters are not on your masterlist, out of curiosity what's the reason behind that?

Aha! So you caught on to that, huh?

Well, I have some terrible news to inform you of...

The only reason they're not listed is to conserve space.

We really hoped that no one would take a specific character not being listed as a reason to not apply. We even made it important to mention this at the bottom of our masterlist, since we're always happy to see people being interested in more obscure characters or characters whom belong to a group we don't have established writers for.

If you don't see a character on the masterlist whom you'd like to write for, no matter how big or small, message us with a reservation request.

The worst we will do is respond with a reason why we are not accepting that specific character. Which, might I mention, is rare.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. The Calaveras in the group hasn't updated in three weeks, but she's still taken? What happened the the Koan and the Rubeus and Saphir of the group? They didn't update for a while either, but they were all removed without having a post made that their positions were taken away from them?

Alright, while this anon does come off a little harshly, I feel the need to answer this since there's obviously some confusion on the process.

If you took the time to read our masterlist, you would notice that characters with a ★ are on a probationary status. If anyone were to be interested in taking one of these positions full time, they would be more than welcomed to apply.

That said, you prove a wonderful point with your ask. Most people do not grasp the concept of these characters being available, despite being reserved upon the list. Because of this, as much as we'd like to simply ★ people when they begin to slip with their activity, we rarely get applications for positions in this manor. As such, we've taken to very rarely putting characters on probation who appear to have no interest in remaining active.

To further put this into perspective: We've been in contact with every person currently starred on our list. Calaveras' mun plays a separate character in our group who is quite active. Due to her being physically here, she is a message away from creating content on her Calaveras blog. Ami/Helios have expressed their difficulty with their ability to write for the time being. While they're the sweetest person in the world and we'd love to have them, we were straightforward in telling them that they would be on a probationary status for as long as their hiatus lasts for. If anyone wishes to take over her roles they are open to it.

All of the characters whom you've listed as being removed were either removed at the behest of their owners, or had sufficient time with absolutely no activity and no notice to the moderators. Also, it's not as if removal from the group is some sort of final decision. Were we to have quality members express interest in returning with renewed interest in writing, we'd be overjoyed. We merely cannot be so lax in our standards that we let our group become a ghost town of empty profiles.

The role of Haruka Tenou has recently become available and, with it, a rather pivotal character to all members of the group. Confident, flirtatious, powerful, someone seeking to play Haruka should be ready for the lime light as they attract attention from not only our lovely Michiru, but from almost every other character in our roster. Likewise, be fully prepared for the family-like atmosphere present among our already established outer sailors.

Ultimately she is what you seek to make her, and we will give you all the support in writing her to the best of your ability.
