I had to do a cool project in which I had to completely redo the sound for a scene from any show or film.
Final Cut Pro X was used for cutting the scene out from the movie and adding visual fades. ProTools was used for the sound editing.
Voices were my own, recorded with a Blue Snowball mic. Sound effects came from various free-to-use sounds on Youtube and freesound.org.

Poem #1
All of her days have been spent in solitude
Isolation, loneliness
Forgotten by the world that passes her by
And that’s all she’s ever known
In her days of living on this earth
Questioning why, when, who, what
Not knowing what was coming next
Not knowing who to trust
Always fearing the unknown
And always fearing what I’ve heard
Her days have been spent learning
Learning what was right and wrong
What to say or do
Who to trust
Who to push away
Her days were spent in fear
Anxiety forming from the depths of her mind
Until the day our paths crossed
Never has she felt such light emotions before
Never has anyone looked at her with such inviting eyes
She looks at him and questions
“What is your purpose in my life?”
But as the minutes turned to hours
And the hours turn to days
She has come to learn that
He has come to free the bird
Who has been caged by her fears
He has come to shine light
In her ever shrouding darkness
And he has come to teach her that
The world is not as bad as it seems
He is the one to show her a new path
He is the freedom she sought after
And he is the voice that called to her in the middle of the night
Whispering words of comfort
Reassurance
The one who spoke to her from the back of her mind
Telling her to
Look at the moon shining brightly through the clouds
And smile because it’s all happening
To not frown at the thought of “What if…?”
He is the source of the warmth in her heart
And the answer to the questions she’s been asking all along
He’s the one her heart longed for in the middle of the night
When she didn’t even know what she wanted herself.

***MAJOR SPOILERS IN THIS VIDEO FOR YOUR LIE IN APRIL***
Here’s a video I made for AnimeNEXT’s AMV contest. Sadly, I didn’t make it to the final round. But it was fun to make this video and hear the reactions when they were screening it. Video was edited with Final Cut Pro X.

Old picture of my Inkling Girl cosplay. This was actually just a random selfie I took while I was waiting for my friend to finish with her photoshoot. The toy gun was bought at Wal-Mart and the face paint was from a face paint pallet from Party City.

One of the first pictures I took when I started cosplaying. I ended up just using a cheap tri-pod and setting my digital camera on a timer while it was cloudy outside. This was photoshopped to change the lighting, blur the background, and add a rain effect.

Did a little bit of scars and bruises practice for a classmate’s student film. Still trying to get the hang of it, but hey it’s getting somewhere. The paints uses were from an ordinary face paint pallet and red body paint from Party City.

Video made using Final Cut Pro X. This was an attempt at a new editing style, one that was more fast paced than what I was used to. I enjoyed it greatly!

Just messing around with an idea that was being thrown around the Miraculous Ladybug fandom. The face paint was a pain but it was fun to do. It was just ordinary face paint from Party City. The colors were a mix of black, blue, and pink. The contacts came from HoneyColor (Dolly Eye Green). Filter is one from Instagram.

My very first somewhat-handmade cosplay. Total time was about 40 hours over the span of a week. The pants were a mix of hand sewn and machine sewn. The shawl was hand sewn. The scarf was machine sewn but the golden yellow was hot glued on (as well as the golden yellow belt). The small shirt was just a sports bra. The blue cord was made with strips of left over fabric being braided and tied together. And the wig was a random wig from eBay.
