I can’t participate really. I took a break from writing due to depression
Six Sentence Sunday
Jimmy Jr. watched as his boyfriend made him a plate as well as a cup of coffee. “You’re being awfully sweet this morning.”
“I can be.” Will set the mug and plate in front of him and then sat inside him, his focus shifting to the bruise on the redhead’s cheek. “It darkened overnight. How does it feel?”
I found this (80s aesthetics!!!) zekina piece that @rascalmath on instagram commissioned me a while ago (check out their art if you haven't already THEY'RE AMAZING) and thought you guys might enjoy it too
Seeeeee, I'm not the only one who wanna promote the short king Zeke agenda, you know?
Based on an idea @ltwharfy had during Roudise Week (forever ago, I know!) where Rudy gets jealous and dresses up as Boo Boo after finding out about Louise’s crush. I loved the idea and just had to do something with it and I FINALLY finished it!
Here’s the dialogue if you can’t read my messy handwriting:
Louise: Would it make you feel better if I slapped you?
@luckierbutjinxedmore wrote a cute fic about these burger kids and friends playing a trpg. As a D&D/trpg lover myself, I had to draw something up for it.
I’ve always liked Ham, but especially the last episode with the cake competition really made me relate to him. I too underplay things too much.
(The supportive and chill way the Tobins accept Ham for being gay is what we all need in the world, so it had to be incorporated into this drawing.)
[image description: full colour drawing of ham Tobin in an apron messy with rainbow coloured batter and some on his face, holds a mini rainbow cake with a candle in it on one hand. Speech bubble of ham saying “family… I am gay!” Another speech bubble coming from 5 voices out of view which says “We know Ham. And we love you just the way you are!”]
“You do this thing when the business next door becomes a little successful, you start copying them,” Linda reminded him.
“No I don’t,” Bob scoffed.
“Uh huh. Remember the ice cream place next door?” Linda reminded him.
“That place didn’t last more than a few days, Lin,” Bob defended.
“Yeah and the week after they closed for tax evasion we suddenly had an ice cream machine because they were doing really well. What about that baked potato place next door?” Linda reminded him.
“Some people wanted a healthier option than fries,” Bob stated matter-of-fact.
“How about the falafel place?” Linda asked.
“That was not my finest moment,” Bob said, remembering his failed attempts at falafel.
Six Sentence Sunday
A steady rain pelted down on the window, a low rumble accompanying it. If his phone’s weather app was accurate, it wouldn’t be letting up until well after time to leave for school in the morning, and he really didn’t want to walk in the downpour.
He unlocked his phone and typed out a new text to Will.
