Potato field in the morning. . This was first time I saw how potatoes are planted. These are just work of art!...the divisions are equally spaced and have equal width also this is done to channel water in them so that they can grow better Every place we visit do have beauty in them, beautiful landscapes are the nature's art on earth! Blue Peacock I am always fascinated by the beauty of the blue peacocks found in India. they are so elegant and mesmerizing. I have spotted many peacocks roaming freely in my village. people respect their freedom and all because of the combined efforts of government and other organizations. These are marvelous creatures. I remember the time when I was young and used to go to village for summer vacations I saw one peacock , who used to roam all around the village. He was really pretty and would be seen in the village almost all the time. But once when I came back and asked about him, got to know that he was attacked by dogs and is no more residing on earth. I felt really bad and always when I think of peacocks I think about him too. He had a magical calmness in him, I tried to capture that in my painting. Morniee. Peahen. Here's a small story behind this piece! I was a small kid minding my own business riding my new bycycle in defence camp in Ambala. We had these huge empty areas and an area with dense trees ..we used to call that jungle!.(coz trees were huge!) For the very first time I still remember a saw a peahen and her family. The peacock guy was chilling on a tree flaunting his beautiful wings and there she was trying to protect her babies and feeding them and walking over the grass lands with them...I just thought that females should be more prettier than males! I was shocked knowing at that time that peacocks are males and not females!🤣 And then this theory took a large space in my mind that in animales males look more beautiful than females that kind of shattered me and I still clearly remember that! I wish I knew more about females than just being show beauty at that time. . But now I know so I decided to color that memory again by making the queen like the most wonderful creature ever..and that there are many more things beyond just being pretty on the skin. . Time inspires me the most! The things we used to love and cherish once upon a time are no longer there. Just think of a place that was serene and beautiful and now a building stands there, or maybe a tree, which was huge and beautiful giving shade to the land underneath but now there is a tractor standing on its place. The places we see are changing continuously, just like how we get old, places we visit are also having wrinkles of the past covered by layers and layers of new changes. I feel capturing a scene is not just about how beautiful the place looks but how much beauty it hides behind itself!
