That may just be one of the busiest night shifts I’ve ever done. But I didn’t mind how quickly it went. There’s stuff I needed distracting from but even with how busy it was, it didn’t quite work.
Sigh.
Anyway. One hour to go. Let’s hope the sleep gods are smiling on me.
It amazes me that I am still able to go 24 hours without sleep and not just die.

Two large black coffees before my shift may be the reason I feel like I’m having a cardiac event.
Also, one of the big issues with night shift they don’t talk about is that you can basically go through an entire week without talking to anyone but patients. It’s a lonely time.
