Erase Sigyn, ok... but then, what about Midgard?

So many mainstream media Norse retellings erase Sigyn from their stories/narrative.

And I guess it's their right.

Still, some of them decide to include the punishment scene.

But then, the question is... what about Midgard?

Because, if you have read any Norse mythology book, you know that each drop of venom that falls on Loki's face causes him terrible pain and has him scream, which leads to earthquakes (and in some Icelandic versions volcanic eruptions) in Midgard...

If you erase Sigyn, that means that there is NO ONE to protect Loki from the poison.

That means that there should be earthquakes (and volcanic eruptions) 24/7 on Midgard.

... I know that you guys don't like Sigyn, but... honestly XD

At least, show it in your adaptions then ^^' Don't be cowards. Erase Sigyn, but then there should be consequences to this in your story. And for your characters...

Loki suffering without any relapse or support from anyone (that they sometimes show)

AND earthquakes without endings for Midgard too...^^'

THIS would be be Doomsday for Midgard ^^'

Did Odin realize this? ... Why make mortals suffer too? (another clue of Odin's true nature, even to his own creations ^^')

Loki, Sigyn and stars

So the Lokabrenna, Loki's star, is Sirius, the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major the Greater Dog.

While the Northern star is Polaris, and associated by Pagans with Sigyn.

Problem is... they are situated in different hemispheres.

I knew about mainstream media, but...

last night I had a dream I was hanging out with a tall man with fiery Red/orange hair, we had a great time and laughed a lot and at the end of my dream just in the middle of sleep and awake I heard him say

The Snake

So I saw some people once again wondering why Sigyn couldn't just put the snake away... They were saying this, of course, with a touch of desdain, as if they were far superior and much more clever than the goddess herself.

And then I realized something. They think the one they're insulting is Sigyn...

But really?

The one who should be insulted here is Skadi.

Do you really think she would have picked some little worm for Loki's punishment?

She was the Goddess of Winter and of the Hunt.

She KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING.

So yeah. The snake was most likely HUGE and TERRIFYING.
