Popular Booktok Book Opinions: ACOTAR (& SJM in general)
Popular Booktok Book Opinions: ACOTAR (& SJM in general)
Hi! Welcome to one of many new series that I’m going to try out in my efforts to revive my blog! If you’ve been on the book side of TikTok, you’ll probably be well aware that certain books take the community by storm. You just can’t seem to get away from them in book recommendation videos. And I, personally have been swayed many times to read a book–or not to read one–based on the reception it…

It felt a little like fate when I picked Six Angry Girls for my TBR this month. Because I am angry. I am angry and terrified because I live in a country with government officials who have decided that because I was born in a certain body, I don’t deserve to have rights to that body. In a country with government officials who claim to be “pro-life"— but only if you are a white Christian able-bodied cishet man. I am angry. I’ve been angry. I don’t have a very big following, but I still want to do what I can with what I have. I want to start adding fundraisers to my posts. I’ve also added the link for a browser extension I use, Tab For a Cause, which donates money for each browser tab you open. This link is specifically for Reproductive health, but you can set it to donate to other charities too. I hope everyone is doing as well as you can in these times.. Be safe and take care of yourselves. 💜💜 Crystals: ★Moonstone: awareness, cycles & change, overcoming obstacles, connection to feminine energy ★Black Moonstone: Protection, new beginnings, resolution, transformation, connection to dark feminine energy ★Labradorite: confidence, protection, transformation, inner strength ★Amazonite: Balance, courage, leadership, stability, strength, success 💜💜 This is also my TBR post for July. It’s a little longer than normal because I’ll be taking a trip with my family later this month and I’m counting on having extra reading time. 💜💜 #booksandcrystals #prochoice #photooftheday #readingcommunity #bookcommunity #booktwitter #bookish #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookblog #Bookblogger #BookBlogs #booktok #tbr #tbrpile #tbrpost #tbrlist #tbrstack #tbr2022 #tbrbooks #tbrbooktag https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf4tJOAv0AN/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

My 2022 Reading Goals
My 2022 Reading Goals
I finally put together a page for my 2022 Reading goals! (over a month into the year…) You can find more by clicking on the icon! The original intent of this challenge was to read two books a month. As you can probably tell by looking at my progress, I have spent a good portion of the year struggling through a reading slump. I’ve been successful in reading a few of the books on my list, but I…

July 2022 TBR
I’m trying out a new way of keeping track of my TBR! I discovered that I really liked using the bingo board formats when it comes to my TBRs, because it seems to put a lot less pressure on me to complete the list. If I can read enough to get me a bingo, I’ll be happy! This is also a bigger TBR list than I would normally give myself, and that’s because I’ll be going on a trip later in the week,…

Blog and Life Update
Blog and Life Update
Here we are again! I haven’t posted in quite a while, and I apologize for that. I keep thinking that I’m going to have more time to work on my blog, and then life happens and suddenly I haven’t posted in months. That being said, I graduated in December! I do plan on going back to school at some point, but it’s not a part of my immediate plans. So hopefully, this time, when I say I’m back, I won’t…

Hello everyone!
I’m back, at least for the summer! I’m sure you’ve noticed that I’ve rebranded a little (this blog was formerly MoonDragon’s Books). This happened for two reasons: first, I was hoping that rebranding would help my situation over on Instagram, where I hadn’t been able to link my blog in my bio since at least August 2020. (I think it worked, so far so good! Apparently Instagram doesn’t like the…
