There was, however, that one particular moment where the two of them were staring daggers at each other; the room silent as tension thick as molasses filled the small living space. At first, Jane had considered walking - storming, to be precise, if she was honest with herself - to her bedroom to give herself time to calm down and recover from yet another frustration filled encounter; her brown eyes wandering over to her room as she considered the idea. What happened, however, was entirely unexpected: the mere memory bringing a faint bloom of color to her cheeks. The moment when she had looked away from Loki had, in his mind she suspected, been the call to move forward with his surprising plan; his long fingers cupping her face as he leaned in and closed the distance between the two of them. A soft, surprise filled gasp had escaped from the back of her throat as the soft pressure of his lips against hers had successfully pulled her out of any form of escape. If anything as her eyelids met and she wrapped her arms around the God of Mischief, all she could think of now was how to be as close to him as much as possible.
