I've seen this like a couple of times recently, but what is up with people calling our fandom dead? Like hello? We're clearly here, very much alive and not dead in the slightest (especially proven by the sab + soc spin-off campaign).

well by the last time we see Wylan in rule of wolves he is probably not an only child anymore and honestly he does fit the "oldest child but the baby was born at his teens" like, i know its a long tag but its a quite diferent dynamic that Wylan fits

The Crows’ Sibling Alignment

this is going to be ramble-y and probably only make half-sense but here we go.

Matthias is an eldest sibling. It’s canon, it’s obvious. He holds the weight of the world on his shoulders trying to be responsible in the group of people he’s been given.

Nina is a middle sibling with younger sibling traits. She had to fight for positive attention in the Little Palace, and learned that negative attention is still attention.

Inej is a youngest sibling. Ignoring the show, and taking a guess about Suli culture, I’d say she grew up around her cousins and they were all sort of raised together. Although she may not have any biological siblings, she was always the baby.

Kaz is a youngest sibling. No one else could have that much audacity.

Jesper is an only child with eldest sibling traits. Going from golden child to family disappointment is a pipeline 90% of eldest children have to go through. (Myself included). He puts a lot of pressure on himself, and wants to be good for his Da but he struggles.

Wylan is an only child. It’s canon, it’s obvious. But not only is he an only child, he’s a homeschooled only child.

Grisha are long lived,not inmortal, only extremely powerful grisha (the darkling,Baghra and the saints) are inmortal

(This is the first i found, i am now in a super investigation mood right now so take it with a huge grain of salt)

Also,hypothetically if Jesper outlives Wylan we can guess Wylan lives until his 90s so Jesper won’t outlive him by THAT much. Not to say Baghra is a prove they won’t look young forever. Even then,it’s the common that in a couple,one outlives the other, couples that die naturally at the same time tend to be strange, maybe in the case that one died a few days later than the other due to grieving.

Nina remembering the crows in the nikolai duology be like: I miss Inej, my best friend, my girl, my person, i need her besides me, i miss Jesper´s jokes and joy despite being a mess, Wylan was kind of cool too...i definitely not miss that ugly haired bitch
