I've disappeared for a bit due to some personal reasons, but I just want to apologise to all commissioners for the long wait! About this piece, some might recall that Vector used to work for the Eggman Empire as a privateer (until Vanilla inspired him to rebel & work alongside the Pirate Republic, aka Sonic & co.) Anyhoo, I saw someone on Twitter having a headcanon of Racoon Jack looting coffee beans & giving it to his crew mates - I’m making that official ☕️

Irish works at Vanilla’s tavern (hence his garments) & is quite the chatterbox. He’s charismatic, and it’s because of his upbeat personality the tavern has so many loyal patrons.

As for Big, from the top of my head, I wanted him to be the ‘misunderstood friendly giant’. He was incarcerated for fear of his large stature & was deemed ‘dangerous’.

I wanted to make valentines cards but never got round to doing them in the end 🥲 So have this instead, hopefully next time I'll make them in time!

Haven't done this in a while, have some personal headcanons hehe. Before Knuckles joined the Pirate Republic (Sonic & Co.), I'd like to think he was a licensed Pirate Hunter/Privateer (Like Vector, hence the similar attire). Rouge on the other hand, was the only pirate that managed to evade him.

Rouge would always be two steps ahead, and whenever Rouge was found, she'd pull a trump card. This led to a constant game of hide-and-seek.

This is giving me sakura vibes - (imagine, sakura-themed eggman, reminds me of a post I reblogged a while back wherein Shadow was coloured with a sakura-themed palette 🌸 ) This is the 2nd time I've ever drawn Eggman and goodness was it a challenge 🥲  Thanks anon for the suggestion!
