keeping the sacred main blog, um, sacred. series positive, generally disk horse free. spoilers will be tagged for four days but probably not consistently so ‘not a spoiler free blog.’ in fact, hardly anything will be tagged so how did you even get here? quite a mystery. Were you looking for Research and Advancement and ended up in the Automat by mistake? Hope you brought your coffee mug…
imagine admiring someone from a different dimension across millennia, watching one soul lose repeatedly never reaching their potential and thinking 'i can fix him' and not only do you fix him, you love him so completely utterly and kindly that he ascends to selfless benevolent godhood like jesus christ mobius's love is literally and transcendentally good and ultimately tragic
It’s the casual way Mobius sets his chaotic boyfriend The God of Mischief loose on everyone. Mobius is so attuned to Loki, he immediately knows how he’s going to react, offering him a gentle warning or permission to proceed. And Loki carefully waits for that permission before he acts, implying this is a familiar dynamic that’s been established beforehand.
Sometimes a family is you, your best friend and partner, a female version of yourself that you have a complicated relationship with, a guy you threatened once, a guy nerd who loves science and fiction and a butch ex hunter
Need a depressed Mobius who's missing Loki so much that he visits so many other timelines to try and save all the Lokis he can. And he does, he shows them they're worthy shows them they're cared for, turns so many to be good and the best they can be, but no matter how many he helps, none of them are his Loki.
And then all the Lokis are like, we need to get this Loki for him, and the combined interlect of like several thousand Lokis WILL figure out how to get to that tree, and will get to see just how that first Loki was truly loved by the man who saved them all.
