This is Mae Kham and Mae Bounma 🐘 Both rescued by @mekong_elephant_park Mae Kham was in the logging industry for over 20 years and was beaten regularly😢 Now 60 years old lives a wonderful life thanks to the amazing people over at the sanctuary who work tirelessly to keep these animals from going extinct😔 you guys can read Mae Bounma's story over on my rescue stories page 👉 @animal.rescuestories show them some love! Thank you all for the love, energy, and prayers! Luna's home and recovering. Things have been quite hectic these few months here in #NY! For about a month and half, food shopping almost became a challenge for survival. Many delivery services were booked for over a month and essentials almost became scarce. Hope everyone, everywhere stays safe and know your not alone!🙏 My sister @melonys_sewing_spot has been making masks😷 since the start and donating many to our local shops here as masks become scarce as well. We all need to come together to get through this but not only during pandemics. We need to be more loving and caring towards e.o as a species. Just started my new job at FedEx! This Friday... Yes Friday the 13th👻 My mom's body will be put to rest at Plainlawn Cemetery 279 West Old Country Road Hicksville, NY, USA. There will be a small service at the cemetery chapel for those who want to pay their respects. Keep in mind if anyone decides to go, she wanted everyone in there most comfortable clothes including pajamas, sweats etc NO exceptions. (Except probably the older crowd who won't change their tradition🙄.) This isn't a day to be sad and she didn't want anyone to be sad, angry, or have regrets. She suffered for a very long time and as much as I feel a certain guilt... I am also relieved that her long, hard and difficult journey is now over and she is at peace.
