I have just finished Derailment about an hour ago and here's my mini insight on it (no spoilers, so feel free to read ☺).

What I liked:

-Plot (!!!!!!): It was intense and it always had me on the edge of my seat, which is great for me as I always get distracted.

-Plot twists: I'm usually quite good at guessing plots (I read and watch lots of dramas/series/movies), but I honestly couldn't guess what was going to happen next.

-Female lead: She's a bad4ss (although she cries a lot, but -to be honest- she cried way less had I been in her shoes).

-OST: Uhh, I can't stress this enough--this must be my favourite OST from all the Chinese dramas I've watched so far.

-Final Scene: It was so sweet, honestly one of my favourite endings ever.

What I disliked/hated:

-Red Flags: The male lead was a walking red flag at the beginning of the drama (especially around episodes 6-8, where I actually considered dropping the drama altogether, wth was wrong with him ???).

-Ending (last 2/3 episodes): The resolution for some things felt kind of rushed... Or maybe it was just me, I don't know.

I would like to write a more in-depth review for this drama, but I always promise I'll write reviews and then forget, lol. We'll see 😂
