leon!kennedy who does his best to make sure your comfortable all the time, everyday, wakes you up with breakfast in bed and some pain meds for your headaches.

leon!kennedy who puts on a brave face when you feel ill and you don’t know the cause. your scared and so is he, he’s trying his best to be strong for you.

leon!kennedy who admires your strength these days. that even when you feel like your lowest because of your pain and illness that your still smiling and trying your best to laugh. he loves that about you.

leon!kennedy who sees you have a good day, one out of the few you’ve had in this month. he sees you read, laugh at a tv show your watching with him. he even lets you kiss him a little because he knows your having a good day. and he wants everyday to be like this.

leon!kennedy who is rubbing your feet at the foot of the bed, watching you try and find joy in the book your reading. you have good days and bad days now, today was in the middle. it was filled with a little bit of hurt but also a little relief.

leon!kennedy who presses kisses to your head while your curled up next to him, hand resting on his chest as you slept. as you got a reprieve from the hurt that drowned and consumed your body. these little moments with you were precious to him, happy he could give you some reprieve from everything. he was glad to be that for you.

leon!kennedy who watches tv with you, you don’t feel like going out these days, the unknown sickness of your body was worrying him. but he was determined to be strong for you still, because that’s what you needed. you needed support.

leon!kennedy who makes you some lunch and rubs your back as you eat, trying desperately to stomach some food and try your best not to feel ill. your doing your best to be strong for him too, even if it kills you.

leon!kennedy who runs you a bath each evening, letting you both relax into each other in the tub. your body soaking in the hot bubbles and water, letting him rub soothing circles on any part of your body that he can. he knows he can only take away so much and he’s hoping that it’s enough for you.

leon!kennedy who wash’s your hair and scrubs and massages your scalp with such care, trying to ease some of the hurt your feeling. trying to do anything he can to make you feel better.

leon!kennedy who drives you around, gets you out of the house. he wants you to have a little bit of normalcy even if you feel ill all the time. he drives you to the bookstore, to a nice cafè and even to a park. he wants you to feel like your world is okay, that your safe and happy. only if it’s for a little bit.

leon!kennedy who tries not to notice how weak your becoming, who holds your hand when you feel pain and feel sick. when your joints ache and you have splitting headaches that caused you to cry and soak your face with tears. he just holds your hand, holds you, he can’t bare to see you like this but he loves you. so he’s going to stay even if it makes his heart ache.

leon!kennedy who takes you to the doctor after you finally give in. he doesn’t want you to be scared so he whispers reassurances into your ear even if he doesn’t entirely believe them. he just wants you to feel better.

leon!kennedy who sits with you in the waiting room, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head, holding your hand tight as you both wait for the doctor to come out.

leon!kennedy who walks close to you, still holding your hand and making sure your okay, trying to soothe your nerves with just a simple touch. even if he wishes he could take it all away just like that.

leon!kennedy who comes into the doctors patient room with you. who lets the doctor run a couple procedures and asks you about how your feeling. asks what’s been happening and whatever you don’t remember, he’s happy to help and fill in. he wishes he could take the pain away, the pain you dealt with.

leon!kennedy who listens as the doctor tells you that it could possibly be cancer. that you could have it, he doesn’t miss the way you squeeze his hand tighter at the doctors words or how you have water in your eyes. and now he really wishes he could take that pain away, because you didn’t deserve this. you didn’t deserve a single bit of it.

leon!kennedy who after the doctors appointment holds your hand, holding it over the console of the car as he drives. he keeps looking over at you every few seconds. your eyes still red and watering a little as if your trying to hold them back. this is killing you, all of it is and you don’t deserve it. he knows that, his own eyes water a bit as he drives.

leon!kennedy who lets you cry into his chest and holds you on the bed, letting you wrap your body around his. he holds you close, he gives you comfort and love, his own reassuring words that he’s trying to desperately to believe and grapple onto.

leon!kennedy who wiped your tears away and presses kisses to your head, your cheek as he kisses some tears away. he presses a kiss to your lips, soft and loving. he keeps you close, he holds you. because no matter what, he would hold you. cancer or no cancer. he was there for you. and he’d never go away, not ever.

i will never EVER understand why people side with teresa. "but her mom died-" yeah and like everyone else on earth during that time. every single person during the flare lost someone so idk why people feel bad for her (also before people say anything about her before wicked and her true story and stuff, i read all the books including fever code and kill order so i know everything about her story, thanks.) yeah okay her story is sad but that doesn't mean she's necessarily good. i understand that she's trying to do the "right" thing, and i respect that, but she's literally stupid. wicked's operation is stupid. anyone with more than two brain cells can understand that. instead of spending like a billion dollars on trying to find a cure, wicked should focus on protecting the immune kids instead of torturing and killing them. firstly, wicked found a cure like 15 years too late. basically everyone was dead by then. but let's say that wicked found a cure in the few months of the flare. how would it be transmitted? the flare was artificially made, transmitted by bullets. there would not be enough of the cure for all of the infected. the cure cannot be artificially created (this is stated in scorch trials book and movie) thomas is the only person who can make the cure, but his body cannot produce blood fast enough for everyone on the planet. by this time, wicked should've already realized that finding a cure was a lost cause and should try to save as many immune people as possible. instead of building a multi-million dollar death maze, they should've started creating a safe haven (like the one in the end of death cure.) fortunately, ava paige and jansen aren't complete boneheads, but they built the last city in a very very bad location. you could assume that with the modern technology that wicked has (considering the fact that they literally created teleportation) they would be able to start a new civilization on mars or something. but let's say they couldn't. instead of having the location of the last city public, it should've been built on an island, in the middle of absolutely nowhere. (to prevent angry raiders that aren't immune or newly infected to raiding it or something. kinda like in death cure how they infiltrated the city and everything went to crap.) this would be a temporary location. wicked could send out an army to clear out, for example, iceland or another small country and slowly build their way up to bigger countries. they could build more and more bases and soon enough people would reproduce. the stronger wicked gets, the more cranks they'll be able to clear out with bigger armies. within 10 to 15 years, the world would be mostly clean and wicked would be able to slowly rebuild humanity. there you go. i just solved all of wicked's problems (your welcome ava and jansen, you could repay me with newt's number iykwim.) anyways, this is why i think wicked is stupid and why i don't support teresa (because she supports wicked and also she's the reason why a bunch of people died in the right arm and got newt killed so...) people are allowed to support and like whatever character but in MY opinion, teresa is really stupid or really selfish to sacrifice an entire group of people AND betray her friends to create a cure that will do absolutely nothing.

i just finished rewatching scorch trials with my mom and one little detail that i missed the first time i watched it was that during the party scene you see crank newt in the crowd. idk i thought that was cool. also another thing is that there’s a parallel between thomas and teresa when thomas was asking teresa to forgive him for leaking the wicked coordinates to the right arm to save all those kids and teresa asking thomas to forgive her when she leaked the coordinates of the right arm to wicked to bring back all the kids. woah 🤯

the line between dystopia and reality is starting to blur and it’s absolutely terrifying. a perfect example of this is fahrenheit 451. ray bradbury perfectly described society today. books are being banned by the government, people glued to tvs and phones, children and adults uneducated, corrupt government, the list goes on. dystopian books are our future. it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a reality.

in my opinion the quote “the ones we love hurt us the most” from snow is describing tigris not lucy. snow grow up as an orphan and he was supposed to have a little sister. his mom died during birth and tigris was the closest thing that snow had to a sister/parental figure. she always looked out for him and was his biggest supporter. i feel like it cut him deep when he realized that tigris didn’t support his “new identity.” this quote could apply to lucy 100% but i feel like it definitely fits tigris too.

idk if people know this but the word snow in literature symbolizes emptiness and death so…

also i know that the tbosas hype is kinda over but i think that it was the academy’s fault for snow’s insanity. okay wait let me rephrase that

it wasn’t completely snow’s fault. i feel like at the beginning he was truly just trying to get a scholarship, but as soon as lucy began to do well, he got the first taste of power. i feel like the academy fed in to his thirst for power, especially dr gaul. praising him and letting him off easy (because he cheated in the games) made him realize that he could be invincible.

district 12 is where it all went south. when he was #1, it fed his ego and that’s when the realization that he needs nobody but himself kicked in. having lucy and sejanus admiring him made him feel like a god. also another thing that made him realize that he could do anything is when he made lucy a “star.” he made her win, and that definitely kickstarted his new mindset.

anyways i have a lot to say about snow’s character because he’s really complex and interesting and there’s so much more to him than some psychotic character with daddy and mommy issues. i’d love to rewatch tbosas and do a complete run down of snow’s character (when i have time 😖)

i don't think johanna gets enough credit for everything she's done. a lot of people see her as some crazy girl in catching fire, but she's so much more than that. johanna doesn't have anyone left because she refused to exploit herself like finnick did (i love finnick and i also have stuff to say about his story aswell) snow killed her entire family in return. after the games and losing her family, she didn't have anyone left and anyone to help her cope with the trauma from the games. it makes sense why she helped katniss in catching fire and mockingjay (to get back at snow for everything that he's done. not only to her, but to all of the other tributes that have suffered because of him even outside of the games). during mockingjay, johanna was captured and she was waterboarded and electrocuted to get information out of her. it takes extreme strength to not crack. that's probably what i admire about her the most. she's strong, brave, determined, and most importantly, loyal. in my opinion, johanna is one of the most underrated characters who deserve more love. <33

when katniss saw peeta for the first time since the 75th games, she truly realized how much he meant to her. after district 12 was bombed, she understood that peeta is all that she really had left. sure, she said prim and gale, but they will never truly understand how she felt in the games. she realized that she took all those moments they had together for granted. katniss sacrificed herself in the 75th games because she couldn't fathom a world where peeta wasn't in it, even though her plan backfired because the capitol now had peeta. she did everything she could to get him back, even provoking the capitol and starting a civil war for him because in the end she realized that she could not live without him.

oh my god. OH MY GOD. the ending was actually so good. i'm gonna read thunderhead soon (i gotta do homework and stuff...) but i'm really excited to see how citra and rowan yk like...stay together ig (even though they aren't TECHNICALLY together but it's okay) also they're so cute. AHGDHJBSEHFB anyways! i'm assuming rowan like somehow becomes a scythe later in the book but idk. also i kinda knew that scythe faraday didn't die because it was so random. and i absolutely 100% ship marie and gerald. tbh i just wanna see them grow old together :((((((

i've been in a bit of a slump recently, but i'm 67% done with scythe!!! i'm only at the part where citra gets arrested so no spoilers please, but AHHBHJFHAFHJ citra and rowan are so cute!!!!!!!!!! i'm really scared that they'll both die and they won't get their happy ending, but i don't think citra actually killed scythe faraday. IDK i'm almost done the book and i'm super excited to see how it ends
