Chapter Fourteen: Movie Night

Chapter 14 has finally been posed and I’m so sorry for how long it took, hopefully the next chapter will be out in a couple of days.

Memory and Time Management

Based on the comments of my latest chapter; the armistice, I can totally see how some people are confused and I’m here to clear that up! This story is almost entirely set on the reader’s pov instead of using descriptive words like “you” or using the third perspective. 

As shown by previous chapters, the reader can not remember certain things that she deems unimportant. The third rule stuck by the skeletons and thought about it while the reader didn’t seeing it as ridiculous and therefore forgot about it.  Currently, in the story, we don’t know when she died (other than me) and depending on how long it has been, some things may mesh together and seem incohesive, which is how she sees it. 

Time management is also one of the major issues about the reader since she is a ghost, she has lived for many years with nothing to do most of the time and that can definitely do something to a person, no longer seeing time as a concept and using other things to measure time like how long a movie is or knitting. Whenever she spaces out she completely forgets everything around her and the time, shown by her first fight with Stretch, going inside the house after a battle, and a couple of other things. 

These things will be explained in later chapters, I enjoy a bit of confusion and mystery ;)

Chapter Thirteen; “The Armistice” has now been posted on ao3! I’m sorry that it took longer than it usually takes me but I was a bit uninspired.

Where have I been?

Simple, I’ve just been chilling. I have half of the next chapter done and I just haven’t gone around to finishing it yet.

The corona virus has made it so I can’t go to school for a month and we are just doing online assignments. It isn’t cool but it is the best we can do at the moment given our situation.

I will try to get the chapter out soon, but I have been trying to focus on myself a bit more. Don’t worry, I’m not giving up on the story just yet. ;)))
