It was the summer of 2003. A new song had arrived & my sister used to listen to it & I would make fun of the song (having heard it in bits). A major actor was said to be making a comeback. I sat down & saw it for the first time. What all happened in my life after that moment, that madness has not left, never will. The only things I had been mad before being a @beingsalmankhan fan were Cricket & WWF. A few weeks later I announced that I won't be wearing any of the sweaters, I only want a "Black Leather Jacket" as Salman wore in #terenaam Days passed, the civil war continued & finally a jacket arrived & it was my first major triumph (equivalent to a World Cup or Wimbledon). (I realised years later, it was Rexine not leather #Thriller) 🙊🙊 15th August 2003 arrived & I was repeating the dialogue of #Kaalia (which I had recently seen on SetMax) "Baandh dijiye mujhe zanjeero se, Kaalia har zanjeer tod ke dikha dega, aur Tere Naam dekhne jayega. (Koi Mil Gaya had released just a week back which I had seen in a theatre & two back to back Friday movie screenings wasn't something folks at home would appreciate) #ParhaiKaro Just like those high octane Bond movie scenes my Bajaj Priya went across a railway crossing just a second before it was about to fall, & I was now 10 minutes away from watching the movie which would.... I reach the theatre & for the first time buy tickets in Black (150 bucks in 2003) #DekhniToHaiHi #Trivia The title track of the movie has been my most heard song for a very long time. Years later when I fell in love, I enjoyed listening to it more (Haaye wo Tadap) #Khatiks 😹😹 (favorite Salman song #JeeneKeIshare from #PhirMilenge) Happy Birthday Salman Khan ❤ Watching a Salman Khan movie unlimited times in theatres & especially the anticipation & wait for the next to arrive in theatres. Somewhere between these two things, haar saal guzar jaata hai". Long Live "Bhaijaan". "Diet Coke & Samose" for everyone. The celebration continues in #Bandipur ❤ (at Galaxy Apt, Bandstand, Bandra)

I made sure I didn't watch anything related to the movie, after the trailer & the first song, no interviews, no promotions, no publicity & sidha on the big screen, just like the "Good Old Days". This is how a movie should be watched. My yearly celebration starts. Whatever I may do from today till the movie is in theatre, may come under acts of insanity, lunacy or fanatica. Finally, Episode 7, in 2015 brought back Ford & Fisher together after 1983 (Return Of The Jedi) Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens (2015) 8⃣▪0⃣ ✔ The third movie in history to reach the two billion dollar mark after Avatar (2009) and Titanic (1997).
