I have so many images I would love to download to my PDA phone for off-line sharing, however the tumblr app seems to have forgotten how to save images. I've reinstalled and double checked permissions, and still can't save images for sharing stupidity where Wi-Fi is not an option.

This is a picture for scale, in the middle is a screenshot from tumblr of the programs list in a PocketPC running a screen resolution of 240x320, and how tiny it is on a LG G6 running at 1440x2880. The screen on my old iPaq 3835 is almost 2 inches shorter but just as wide as the G6's screen.

This has been random history, please take a moment to think how big the pixels were on that PDA... here's a hint Font Size 6 Tahoma on the PDA was readable, on the G6 it's like looking at just lines with tiny bits of variance.

This game does have a difference in the soundtrack between Japan and US releases, the drum kit. US version is a bit crisper.

Been playing through Lightning Returns.

I guess it plays into the whole everything is on the spiral of death and destruction, but being able to hunt monsters to extinction is a gameplay mechanic that feels weird. One of the behemoth variants, extinct; the little imps, extinct; a big dragon, extinct. I mean with things like monster slaying being sort of detached from the stats building aspect, it makes sense. I just find it a little odd, did any other games employ a mechanic like this?

Even though I'm playing it off a Pci-e SSD I keep turning on precaching in the configuration, that upped load times in map changes and eats more ram but was so much smoother, on an old spinning HDD.

Additional Performance Tips

While Deus Ex will run fine with 64 MB of RAM, your playing experience will be smoother if you have at least 128 MB of RAM. Regardless of how much memory you have, you can maximize your available memory and increase the overall performance of the game engine by doing the following:

Closing any open windows

Shutting down all other programs, including menu-bar programs like ICQ

Defragmenting your hard drive

Making sure you have additional free space on your hard drive.

The game will run more smoothly if you do the full install by installing all of the available game components when you install the game. If you wish to change the install type after you have already installed, just uninstall Deus Ex and install the game again (make sure you have enough room on your hard drive). Your saved games will not be deleted.
