I just saw your last reply to an anon where you said that belly thinks it’s cheating and this is something that is completely overlooked. To belly, from her pov the person who was in the relationship she felt like it was cheating. This is all that matters ( I mean he brought her a bracelet back so to me it actually was or at best if you knew you had a chance with getting back with her to the point you brought a bracelet why did you do it in the first place) - in the same way that from belly’s perspective conrad broke up with her at prom because he didn’t fight and was pulling away from her for months. People who watch the show have the ability to see other characters perspectives and or motivations . Yes it is obvious to us that Conrad is just going through it and loves that girl but to her she can’t see it because she isn’t seeing what the audience is and the anti belly agenda is a bit much at the moment.
i feel like cheating plot was so overlooked in general and i understand that mostly it was done so that fans would not hate jeremiah completely. honestly, speaking from personal experience, it's sad that jenny didn't dive into belly's feelings after the cheating. she felt betrayed by jeremiah, but we never really saw belly struggle with trusting him again or her struggle with self-image because usually a person who's been cheated on thinks that they're the problem, not the cheater. it would be great if the show highlighted belly's struggles after the cheating, because i feel like it's important to show that whatever she's feeling towards herself is important and it's absolutely not her fault that she was cheated on. back to your original point, yes, i feel like people forget that mostly we see belly's pov and, no matter if someone, as a viewer, considers it's cheating or not, for belly it was cheating, so i don't even know why some people try to prove that it wasn't. for them maybe, but for belly it was. personally, for me it was cheating too for the same reason that you mentioned. if jeremiah bought her that bracelet, he knew damn well that they were not over. i don't support belly hate, honestly. she's so confused and grieving, whatever she was doing in season two or book two, she did it because she was hurting. she's sixteen years old, she cannot read someone else's mind and understand what he's going trough if he's not vocalising things for her. and i do understand why she thought that conrad broke up with her, she even said that he was slipping away from her. it's great that the show really expands the world and we, as audience, can see the background of other characters' decisions and their reasoning, but also we need to remember that belly's pov is valid and whatever she's doing she's doing it not because she's a villain of the story. honestly, none of the characters are villains, but people just need to hate someone, apparently.

This is going to sound bad but I’m going to say it. As someone who has watched the show and read the books Jeremiah is the right choice at this point of the story completely they heal each other and are a cute young relationship. but it’s obvious that Conrad is her soulmate he is the person who gets her and the person she truly wants and I feel this way because I read the story through belly’s pov, and tried to watch the show through belly’s pov. the people gunning for Jenny to change the story are just wanting her to end up with Jeremiah because they have a preference of Jeremiah over Conrad, I don’t think they actually care about belly as a character because otherwise I don’t know why they wouldn’t think that Jeremiah deserves his own big love and this is belly’s story and how two people have been through it all make their way back to each other.
it doesn't sound bad at all! honestly, i think at this point the right choice for every part of the love triangle is to stay single and heal, but belly choosing jeremiah now is not a bad thing per se. yes, they'll damage each other in future and all, but when belly chose jeremiah she was badly hurt by conrad, so for once she chose a boy that potentially could not hurt her. i think she did have feeling for jere when she chose him, but she also wanted to be with someone who didn't have the same effect on her as conrad did. and i also think that when she said "the future is unclear, but it's still mine", she confirmed that she gained control over her life, so maybe her choosing jeremiah would also be her gaining control of her own heart, because she didn't choose to love conrad, but she did choose to love jeremiah. you can even make an analogy on how conrad describes when he fell in love with belly and how jeremiah does it. jeremiah knows the exact moment something changed for him (conscious, controllable situation) , but for conrad it was like waking up (which you have no control of). for me it's obvious that no matter what belly felt towards jeremiah she always loved conrad more. it's not even a question that when belly overcame her grief and finally faced conrad alone she realised that she still loved him. in the show she even said it herself, she would never be able to love someone the same way she loved conrad. people who want jenny to change endgames after (spoiler) jeremiah cheats on belly are not "anti bellyconrad", they are anti belly. and i would say it hundred times, no matter what you consider cheating, for belly what jere did was cheating. if someone think that staying with a cheater is an okay thing to do, well, i don't even want to have conversation there because it's obvious what i'm going to say. and again, jeremiah also deserves to finally find someone who would not stir up his internal conflict with his brother, everyone in his life made him question if he's worth it, so for him to finally be with someone who would love him and only him is really something that i would be glad to see. if people say that they are jeremiah fans, i think that they would want to see it too. those passionate fans who want jeremiah to end up with belly after everything that happened in third book, well, i think they are just conrad haters, not jeremiah fans.

I think that Bonrad is endgame for sure I don't care about Jeremiah but I think that you're right he should get a spinoff so that his fans would get a needed closure. For me the dilemma with Jeremiah fans is why would they want him to be with a peron that said that he's a reality so she would settle on it. I think Belly loved Jeremiah I do, but she just loved Conrad more and I hope that when we get Belly narration in that particular scene where she realises that she still loves Conrad people would realise how wrong they are. BTW Do you think it's possible that Jeremiah cheats on Belly with Gigi (Lila Pates character from s1) instead of Lacey Barron?
exactly my point. jeremiah is not my favourite character, but i don't wish him to rot in hell like some jere fans do with conrad. personally, i think that everyone deserves to find a person who would not treat you as a second choice just because it didn't work with their dream person. belly already picked conrad over jeremiah in the beginning of season two when both boys had even chances. jeremiah was already set as her second choice. yes, when they were back in cousins she started to see jeremiah and consider him as a potential love interest, but originally he wasn't her first choice. and it's showing, i'm sorry. jeremiah deserves to find someone who would not let him feel as second choice. he really should find a person who would not compare him to conrad like belly did, hell even like his own father did. yeah, i think that book three emphasises that jeremiah and belly just don't work. no matter how hard she tried to love jeremiah more than conrad, at the end of the day, we all know how it ended. and i'm glad that it was jeremiah who basically decided to end things because that was his first step to healing his inner child who was constantly compared to his older brother. as for gigi, i think that it would be even harder for belly if jere cheats with someone that she knew and she was kind of friends with. but i'm also a sucker for olivia rodrigo and i cannot stop picturing song lacy playing when belly cries over jere and lacey barone. cinematography!

Jellys love to call Bonrad anti-feminists but they are constantly calling Belly stupid because according to them she was influenced to love conrad
i need someone to influence me to love cleaning my apartment this way! please guys if you can make me love washing dishes i would be so happy jokes aside, look, people who disregard belly's relationship with conrad are either never been in love or don't know anything about love at all. you can interpret your ship's scenes however you want, but if you just erase a part of narration because you don't like it, well, you're wrong. it's clear that belly loved both boys and it's clear that she has ever loved only two boys - conrad and jeremiah. as for feminism part, there are fans on both side of fandom who favour boys and completely shame belly for every choice she makes. bellyjeres are wrong for saying that it was not belly's choice to love conrad, agreed, but also there are some bellyconrad shippers who have problems with belly's choice when in reality it was her choice and she should not be shamed for it. there are always problematic points on the both sides, unfortunately.
